have we really messed up ?

Disappointed. However, we've gone through 23 league games (and some over a much more intense period) just fine. We've only got 15 left, many fewer than our rivals, and have actually strengthened with Gray and Amartey. James and Schlupp still to come back. Vardy nearly back to full fitness. Okazaki getting better as he adapts. A Remy/Musa would have been fantastic. Nevertheless, I'm confident in this squad to shine for the rest of the season.

I swear...if we had signed 2 class strikers most on hear would be saying its the end for vardy and mahrez they are on their way....you can't win.

Sign one and then that cuts half the crap out

Rather we have players that want to be here and not being held to ransom by clubs. If it backfires it backfires. I'd ratherwe stick with the ethos that has got us where we are now rather than start to chip away at it by chasing a name. Would have happily taken Dwight Gayle as a 4th choice option but I'm sure we can manage with the 3 strikers.

The Musa lad is real quality massive step up for us !

This will haunt us !

Huge financial risk for a team that are top due to hard work and having the right attitude.

I can't really understand the logic behind how paying 90k a week to Remy would upset some players.

Vardy, Kante and Mahrez will surely be moving onto those wages in the summer anyway given this season, sure we'd be happy to do the contracts six months earlier if they wanted to commit.

Remy or Musa would have been a serious statement of intent and given us a possibly lethal strikeforce. We've done brilliantly so far but it's hard to believe we can win the league on the cheap.

I'd rather win the title 'on the cheap' anyway. At least our club is being run well. Look at Villa signed a winger in the summer on 75k a week.

I wouldn't want players on 90k a week here yet anyway. They aren't needed yet. Especially not Remy (he is worth half that). say we really splash the cash... We could potentially still get relegated next season and be fu*ked!!

Glad that we've held on (so far) to our best players. However, unless we win the prem now then it'll always be a big 'what if'. Imagine coming second (or God forbid 5th) by a point or 3 and thinking if only we'd twisted in Jan we could've won it.

Its twisting for £100m extra when you bought in for a £10 !

It all appears to have been poorly managed. Whether the board, Rudkin or Ranieri takes the blame for that I don't know, but it's not easy to defend any club going against the established wisdom of having 4+ strikers available (and that's frequently for sides that play with only one up front), especially when it's unnecessary: Ten days ago we knew we needed a forward, after which we made it so glaringly obvious - by loaning out two forwards and announcing to the Press that we wanted to sign a forward - that no self-respecting club would have done anything other than demand extortionate fees for their assets.

I'd hesitate before saying we've blown our chance of success, though we might well have, and I'd hesitate before pointing the finger at any individual, but it looks likely that something, somewhere hasn't been handled the way it should. If things go well for us, it will be in spite of this episode. If we don't, there may be a lot of people, with good reason, pointing towards what's happened over the past week or so.

Unless we sign someone - and there's time yet, regardless of what Sky say - we're leaving things in the laps of the gods that don't need to be left in the laps of the gods.

I'll probably adopt the Buddhist approach of, as opposed to thinking such thoughts, hitting the cans heavily.

Or alternatively being glad to having had a massively enjoyable season in premiership.

No point in wishing the unyielding past could be different, but concentrating on the here and now, maaaaaaaaaan.

Massive Feck up !

a gamble on a scale that's incredible to comprehend so it's not a gamble , nobody gambles like this

They wanted a striker , it didn't happen so for me it's a serious serious Fcuk up !

Someone Fcuked up and in a massive way !

Only a Leicester City fan could post a have we really messed up topic when we are top of the league in February with a real chance of winning the league since my first match back in March 63.

The understanding and patience of our fans is at an all time low with the number of know all critical negative posters spouting their immense knowledge of the game. Many of you don't deserve such a great club as Leicester City, this season has been absolutely brilliant, let's have a bit if positive thinking, if we are left with three strikers, so be it.

I accept that this year is a fantastic opportunity, but let's have a bit of faith in the owners and management and players.

I read a lot of posts and basically am ashamed of many of our so called fans. My last major comment was the back end of last March when we looked doomed. Have a little faith in the team or support somebody else.
