GaelicFox Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 Vardy is playing with a niggle If he get injured we have no credible alternative Someone has messed up ! Rudkins career with us could be on line ! Claudio wanted a striker and someone at the club didn't deliver. Have we made a fatal error and damaged our hopes of champions league football ?
Larry_LCFC Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 Not happy we haven't signed a striker. We've had all month to sort it out and it came down to the last couple of hours on DLD - which we've managed to fvck up. If Vardy gets injured, we're screwed I feel.
Guest MattP Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 We'll only know at the end of the season. If we couldn't get a striker in then fine but letting Kramaric go could look a pretty bad move if we get an injury or two. Who is actually our fourth choice up front now?
Max Power Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 We'll only know at the end of the season. If we couldn't get a striker in then fine but letting Kramaric go could look a pretty bad move if we get an injury or two. Who is actually our fourth choice up front now? Mahrez central and put Gray/Schlupp out wide I suppose. Probably go with that over Ulloa tbh.

Arriba Los Zorros Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 if we were in a relegation battle, I'd be furious. It would be a sickener if it cost us a CL place, but the squad we have are good and have proved themselves, let's hope they can stay fit!

Though I'm sure we'll play with an attacking 5-man midfield if it push comes to shove
The Year Of The Fox Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 Surprised we haven't strengthened given we'll never be in this position again. Wouldn't have been over the moon with Remy- it kind of felt like when we signed Beckford. Last resort etc. If he was unhappy with our wages or didn't want to come here without hesitation then he's not right for us. If Kram hits the ground running at Hoffenheim perhaps he can be recalled? We've 15 games left and our trust is being put in the players that have got us through these first 23 as opposed to possibly upsetting the balance of the dressing room with egos
J.Lisemore Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 We'll only know at the end of the season. If we couldn't get a striker in then fine but letting Kramaric go could look a pretty bad move if we get an injury or two. Who is actually our fourth choice up front now? This is why we've messed up. We're top of the Premier League and we've weakened our strikeforce... only at Leicester City.
Matt Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 For people saying recall Kramaric, I'm sure I read that was no recall clause - How true that is is another question but i'm sure I read that. As for recalling him, we never used him anyway and I seriously question if he's good enough, imo, he's not. If we got an injury then yes we might need him, good enough or not, but for now, it's disappointing not too have strengthened but not the end of the world.
Guest MattP Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 If we seriously end up with the pressure of chasing the Prem/CL on the shoulders of Schulpp up front I can tell you the answer to the original poster's question now.

It would be a sickener if it cost us a CL place, but the squad we have are good and have proved themselves, let's hope they can stay fit! I think that's a fair call , but staying fit surely is too Much of a gamble when so much is at sake. An extra 4m seems a silly amount to gamble a huge amount on !
Fatty Arbuckle Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 Absolutely messed up I think. It's been obvious for ages that we need a striker but its been a shambles. I really hope this doesn't bite us on the ass but I think we've missed a big opportunity to help us kick on.
richardsfoxes Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 We've managed with 3 strikers so far this season so we shall see but it would be gutting if we missed out of the champions league because goals dried up or we had injuries.
Jaspa Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 If thats it . . . We had the time to get one, we knew Musa has a buyout clause we could hit in an emergency and we havent bitten. So we are comfortable in what we have the way I see it. No-one can compain, its not your 10+ or so million sat in the bank
GaelicFox Posted 1 February 2016 Author Posted 1 February 2016 fookin christ.. He staying with Bethleham till the summer John the Baptist was offered but he doesn't like crosses !
deejdeej Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 Just to throw this out there. Maybe a big name signing on massive wages could have damaged team spirit... I think there's yet more over reactions on here.
Suffolk exile Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 Definitely messed up. We will never be a better position than we are now. I am reminded that being a Leicester supporter has more to do with being frustrated than anything else - and the failure to recruit another striker in this window is right up there. In saying that, keeping hold of Vardy, Mahrez and Kante should give us all a sense that club is moving forward! (?)
Sammy Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 Keeping this in perspective we have strengthened more than Arsenal have this window. Arsenal have significantly more games and a far worse record with injuries. Yes a new striker would have been nice and it's disappointing we haven't capitalised on our current position but these players got us here and I trust them to keep going. We haven't spent silly money on a player that could come in and disrupt the harmony we have at the moment. Heads on for tomorrow.
Kitchandro Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 We'll have to see but most of us have been saying for months that we need a striker to score goals as well as Vardy. To not be able to bring anyone in, when we're sitting in such an attractive position, is bitterly disappointing. That could be the difference between Champions League and Europa League or the title and 2nd place. I don't know who's fault it is but we should have been able to bring one in. I just feel that our staff weren't prepared for us being in this position and had no idea what to do when they realised that we needed a totally different calibre of player to the ones we've been scouting for the past 18 months. Shame.
lgfualol Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 We've got Jacob Blyth, a 23 year old youth academy player to come in and score us goals.
los dedos Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 Surely there's a recall option on Kramaric?Jason Bourne confirmed on twitter there is a recall on Kramaric.
