I think there's yet more over reactions on here. That's a small club mentality I'm afraid. If we want to go to the next level we're going to have to pay bigger wages at some point.

To not be able to bring anyone in, when we're sitting in such an attractive position, is bitterly disappointing. That could be the difference between Champions League and Europa League or the title and 2nd place. I don't know who's fault it is but we should have been able to bring one in. I just feel that our staff weren't prepared for us being in this position and had no idea what to do when they realised that we needed a totally different calibre of player to the ones we've been scouting for the past 18 months. Shame. Good point. Likely scenario.

Livid Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 Disappointed in that it looked like we had a number of targets and didn't go all in on any of them, either transfer fees or wages. Only time will tell if we have screwed up one of the best opportunities this club has ever had. We stay injury free all well and good but every time Vardy goes down I'll be worried.

I'm just not going to be too down if we don't sign a striker.Also it's easy to forget we've actually held on to our assets.

We've had all month to sort it out and it came down to the last couple of hours on DLD - which we've managed to fvck up. If Vardy gets injured, we're screwed I feel. Trigger the ****er and this would have been a great window. Retain our best, bring in Gray, Amartey and Musa - strengthened everywhere it needed it. That couple of millions means nothing to the club in the grand scheme of things but the insurance of those extra goals could be the deciding factor of what direction this club goes in for the foreseeable future. Meh. Should have done it. We've probably spent more on clappers...

Just go tomorrow and get behind the last like we always do!
