Topman Posted 4 February 2016 Posted 4 February 2016 hello, does anyone know when or why we start to sing this at the beginning of each game? does it have a particular meaning ? thanks
Blackpool Fox 69 Posted 4 February 2016 Posted 4 February 2016 I do like the Beatles....I harks back to Julian Joachim a great little player..........don't have a clue to be honest!
CollinsLCFC Posted 4 February 2016 Posted 4 February 2016 Singing it against Liverpool didn't seem right..
filbertstreet Posted 4 February 2016 Posted 4 February 2016 maybe jude always turns up late to each game
Freeman's Wharfer Posted 4 February 2016 Posted 4 February 2016 Need to mute the 'Hey Jude' bit so people can just join in with 'Leicesterrrrr'.
Larry_LCFC Posted 4 February 2016 Posted 4 February 2016 Need to mute the 'Hey Jude' bit so people can just join in with 'Leicesterrrrr'. Not a bad shout to be fair.
4everfox Posted 4 February 2016 Posted 4 February 2016 I like it personally, not keen on the Kasabian goal music though.
Fox92 Posted 4 February 2016 Posted 4 February 2016 Singing it against Liverpool didn't seem right.. True, although McCartney is an Everton fan.
TiffToff88 Posted 4 February 2016 Posted 4 February 2016 Does anyone remember the song that used to get played before kick off at filbert street in the Martin O'Neill era? Somewhere in the back of my mind i can remember there was the same song for years, just cant remember what it was

danny. Posted 4 February 2016 Posted 4 February 2016 Republica - Ready to go? Yes - always loved that!
TiffToff88 Posted 4 February 2016 Posted 4 February 2016 Republica - Ready to go? Thats the one! That always put me in the mood for a game, even if it did get stuck in my head for days afterwards! I'd love it if they brought that back, just for 1 game...
demon_dog Posted 4 February 2016 Posted 4 February 2016 I liked that! Remember back in the early 70's they always used to play Missisippi by Pussycat. Used to love singing Lei cest err city ........ Altogether now Leic est er city
Fox92 Posted 4 February 2016 Posted 4 February 2016 The whole pre-match music needs re-shuffling tbf. Get rid of stuff like 'Uptown Funk', introduce a bit more Kasabian, and a few more Leicester City songs... 'Heroes in blue and white' and 'this is the season for Leicester' as examples.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 4 February 2016 Posted 4 February 2016 united are the kings of the pre match music game
HoustonFox Posted 4 February 2016 Posted 4 February 2016 Always loved Hey Jude or Lesss-terrrrr as it should be sung. The 90s tunes were the best though - as mentioned Republica and Robbie. Weren't they from Sky though? Remember they always played Republica for sure. Was there also Kula Shaker as well?
WesMorganGod Posted 4 February 2016 Posted 4 February 2016 Its a good song, I'm fine with it personally.
Guest CityFan 06 Posted 4 February 2016 Posted 4 February 2016 I'm not a fan of the goal music being honest, I thought they were going to do a survey on this anyway? But Hey Jude's ok with me. One of my favorite parts of the home games match build up is the two video's on the screens of Leicester goals. I like the music that goes with it as well, hairs stand up on the back of my neck watching some of those goals.

Guest CityFan 06 Posted 4 February 2016 Posted 4 February 2016 They make me feel old as I was at most of them. At least on the positive side, you've got those memories to cherish since supporting the City, and hopefully more to come!
