Do not underestimate them. Teams did that to us at the back end of last year. They'll be fighting for there lives.

Il take a 1-0 to us. Results end of season. We are in this race. Let's stay in it till the end.

Norwich are brittle, poor defence, they have conceded 50 goals.

If we don't beat them it will be a surprise

We didn't beat Villa.

There are NO easy games in this league. We will be very deflated after today. It is time for Claudio to really earn his money from now on. We really need to win this one.

Can't underestimate anyone in this league but with our form, especially home form, we should be beating Norwich.

They're not going to roll over but we should beat them. Defensively they're poor.

Hoping that Villa game isn't the one that got away.

Really really hope that the Villa reverse being scheduled in January and not any other month doesn't make it the one that got away, because I feel like we only played so negatively in that match because it was during the fixture congestion.

Just have to take care of business now.

Hi There,

Posted this on the post match thread, but realised it would be more relevant here, so please forgive the copy/paste!

*I'm new here - just introduced myself on the "New Members" section.

Sorry to drop my first post after such an upsetting result, but I thought I'd share a couple of positives for what it's worth.

Firstly and most obviously, our next game is at home to Norwich - Whilst no team should be underestimated, to play a bottom table team who are struggling for any sort of consistency in our next match is surely the best one could wish for, in a title run, after the huge disappointment of dropping 3 points.

Secondly, and potentially advantageously in more ways than one, we are playing on the Saturday, before any of the big boys. This means, should we win, the 5 point gap will be restored for at least 24 hours, then the likes of Arsenal (who are away to Man Utd) and Spurs will have the pressure of attempting to claw back the defecit.

As gutted as I am at today's fiasco, it's still in our hands! Something, I didn't think, just 3 games ago. We just need to keep some perspective here.*

I'm with you on this. Let's face it we all went OTT after the Man City win and many are going equally overboard and over analytical after this loss. Having watched the match again, let's get things clear. It took 70 mons and for us to be down to 10 men for Arsenal to get a shot on target. Cech pulled off two great saves from Kante and Vardy in the first half that could have seen us run away with it. Players will have a week to get over it, get their heads right and then prepare to beat Norwich at home. I'm usually quite cautious and yes, I could see that goal coming. But, I'm still confident.. If we'd held out another 30 secs today, then we'd be bullish about the title. We can still do this and even if we don't, I think top four is amazing for us.. Enjoy the ride and Web o knows where we'll end up. Let's give them 100% at every game whatever happens. We can make all the difference! COYB!!

Norwich are the only team not to have a clean sheet away from home this season.

Which is why I think this will be another goalless draw, like against Bournemouth.

Thinking Amartey will play, purely because of Wasilewski's rash challenge which lost us the game.

Happy hunting ground your place other than the 4.0 spanking a few years ago. You play to your potential and I'm sure you'll do us but nerves might play a big part now.

Nerves?

I'd much rather have the nerves of challenging for a title than relegation.

Especially when your side is exactly the same as that which was relegated a few years back and looks just as poor.

I mean.....Howson and Russell martin in a premier league side?

It might be a blessing in disguise this. We will now have 2 weeks of being written off again and if Amartey comes in at RB and looks the business then we could have strengthened our team for the run in.

Simpson has done very well this season but the last few games he's scared me on a few occasions and a bit of a breather could be needed for him and our team.

Simpson is no more than competent at PL level, right back is a position that needs improving most in our team.

He's reliable but because he's asked to do the bare minimum in his role so it's easy to flatter to deceive.

Oh come of it, just because he got sent off today.

If wasilewski hadn't given away the free kick we would have gotten a point.....

If fuchs actually marked welbeck we would have got a point.....

Simpson is left 2v1 every match and has been solid all season.

I insinuated he's solid, he's an average PL right back, no more.

I just hope whoever comes in for Simpson does as well as he has performed this season. Personally I think he's been one of the he most consistent performers in the side.

I know I'll probably get shot down here by the Simpson haters but I think whoever comes in will have to play very well to replace him.

One of the first names on the team sheet for me.

He fits in well then given we are an average PL side having an outstanding season.

We might be but having been the best side in the country over the last 35 games so maybe we are a genuine top four or top six side? The longer we maintain this 2.17pt average per game is further evidence this is our level. Also we have three absolutely outstanding players and players like Schmeichel, Fuchs, Drinkwater who are good enough to play for top four teams.

Players like Simpson & Okazaki are decent PL players but are easily improved upon so we have more scope to improve than a lot of teams.

Just watched highlights from your game yesterday. If and when a penalty is given against you like the Vardy dive I really hope you don't squeal too loudly. Very clever but a dive all day long.

If someone sticks their leg out like that, then you would be stupid not to go over it.

If there's no negative effects from the Arsehole game and we play to our potential then we should win and win well
