....but only 2 points clear.

then you can start your winning run until the end of the season....and then sell us Kante.

Championship or Champions League? Don't think Kante will have a difficult time figuring that one out

hello all spurs fan here...cant see anything but a win for you tonight...but i dont think newcastles problems were their fitness as they managed to beat us with two late goals at the lane so maybe  the introduction of benetez will sort out their mental side of the game so theres a good chance the new manager bounce might get them something from this match....like all true football fans i hope your rise is a permanent one ( but i still want you to finish 2nd...)

Cvnt on SSN still talking about the Leicester bubble bursting.

He asked davie provan if he thought a defeat tonight would facilitate a bursting of our bubble and DP replied that he didn't think it would though it would be a huge disappointment

Confident Bournemouth will take points at WHL next weekend.. Then Liverpool away.. Lots of chances for Spurs to drop points yet.

Looking forward to this one to be honest.........the despair on Rafa's face when Drinky, Kante feed Mahrez and Vards will be worth the wait. Newcastle running amok trying to cover. He'll be wondering what the hell he was thinking taking this appointment.

Got a horrible feeling rafa grinning face will be all over tomorrow back pages.

Love this from Lineker

Former Leicester City striker Gary Lineker says his old club "are on the edge of sporting immortality".

The Foxes, fighting relegation last year, are top of the Premier League with nine games to go.

They can go five points clear if they win their game in hand against Rafa Benitez on Monday.

"They are on the edge of sporting immortality," he said. "I don't think I have ever wanted something to happen more in sport in my entire life."

couldnt agree more...thats why we r all bricking it with every match ...great buzz... made even better by the fact that the usual suspects have to listen to the media talk constantly about both our teams...hope the next  few weeks keep that going

Delusional aren't you. Go play on Sunderland's forum

nah not really. like i said, i hope leicester win the league, had mcclaren been in charge i would have been happy to lose (relegation hitting fatty in the pocket is something i welcomed, enjoyed our last spell in the championship anyway...we actually won games), but now i feel like a new wave of optimism has just began, the world is our oyster...and it all starts tonight!!

0-4, wijnaldum 2, sissoko 2

I'd agree with this. I have never wanted anything more in sport. If I wasn't a Leicester fan this might even be the case. But factor that in and you can understand why the nerves are shredded.

Too many nerves on this forum, chill out and look forward to watching the best team in the country play. Regardless of what happens we'll be top tomorrow.

Exactly, everybody looking at Benitez like he's some God that's come down to save Newcastle lol

Bottom line is they are a crap team, we play well... we win.

Will you still be supporting your team when they're languishing about in the limbos of the Championship? Or will that be time for a proper turncoat makeover?

went to more games live when we were in the championship than at any other time in  my life...bare in mind i live in Lutterworth, so its a fair old drive. loved the mid-week games, went to loads of them. drive home...bed for 1 am, up for work at 7am. good times 2009

You do realise what Newcastle's average attendance was last time they were relegated don't you?

Pretty daft question really.

Newcastle haven't won a domestic trophy since 1955 yet over 50,000 still turn up so their fans can hardly be deemed as plastic.

exactly, when we were in the championship and man utd and arsenal were playing away, we still had the highest attendance in the country.

Newcastle to win 0-4 tonight.

I live just down the road from Leicester (I go way too often now that you have Five Guys in the city centre), long you have been my ''second team'', but not tonight! There is nothing more that i would like to see than Leicester win the league (apart from Newcastle not being relegated, and even that's debatable), but tonight, Benitez' magic men are coming to destroy your title dreams! After that you can go on a 9 game winning run or whatever, but tonight is our night!

ps...does anyone have a spare ticket?

Newcastle fans make me laugh. They've signed a Spaniard at the helm, but his name is not Jesús!

Little did they know... He hasn't managed a bottom-of-the-table club in close to 20 years.
