weller54 Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 On paper this should be a mauling.. They look down and out. 3-0 Vardy hattrick!
Nalis Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 2-0 if Schteve is still there. Vardy and Huth. Given they have a lot of games against those around them, I reckon they'll play for a draw.
Tuna Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 Hope McClaren struggles on for another week, and we take his scalp at the end of it. Doubt they'd sack the wally and get someone else in in time though. Play against them like we did against West Brom...without the mistakes at the back and it should be a routine victory.
Fox42 Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 In two minds here. They turn up for these sort of games, hopefully we can see the game out.
GaelicFox Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 Let's hope the manager is still there The wally with a brolly has lost them We don't want him sacked this week
kyleolly Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 In two minds here. They turn up for these sort of games, hopefully we can see the game out. hopefully their fans are leaving at half time in disgust like last season
RowlattsFox Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 Be solid at the back and we'll win because you can't see us not scoring.
Birmingham fox Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 Be interesting to see make up of our team, given the success we had second half yesterday when schlupp and king came on. Do fancy Huth to net though. If we go at them early, I don't think they will fancy it. If we let them into the game, they have a few individuals that can cause us problems.
glenelgfox Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 Surely if we harbour any designs on being champions then we should win this comfortably. Anything but a win could set us back. I am backing Vards to get two and Shinji to open his home account.
Vacamion Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 Their defence (from what I saw on the highlights) should have us licking our lips, but remember they had a mini revival and beat Spurs, so we still need to play at our effective, top of the league, best. COYB.
Fox 4 Life Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 Really hope the water boy doesn't get sacked, even if they don't get anyone else in it always seems to galvanise squads to play better. Either way we should be too good for these, they have been awful lately.
ScouseFox Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 they incredibly manage to get worse every time we play them. the 1-0 in the cup was one of the worst professional performances of all time. then the 3-0 last season was even worse, they were pathetic. and then the 3-0 this year somehow topped that, could've been 33-0 if we got out of first gear. more of the same please.
st albans fox Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 The last couple of times we have played them they have been worse than dreadful. surely they can't be terrible again? At some point they have to turn up, even if it's only for one game. Need an early goal to drop their heads. if they stay in it for the first half, they will feel like they have something to keep hold of. Important not to do anything that galvanises them mentally(eg.v poor tackle or a dive).
Corky Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 They have Sunderland and Norwich in the two games after this one, I think he'll be more focused on those. Has to be a win whatever the circumstances.
goose2010 Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 Both Spurs and Arsenal play twice before we play, on paper it's a straight forward game but we will have to watch for perez he is a good player
Gerard Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 For me the aim of the squad should be to win the league in our next six games. Newcastle (h) Palace (a) Southampton (h) Sunderland (a) West Ham (h) Swansea (h) We will start as favourites in all those games and there isn't one of those fixtures I would be happy to take a point from. Every fixture looks difficult now, even Newcastle at home but it's the old adage of taking one game at a time but we need to do it in these six games for me and see where we are after the Swansea match. All of these fixtures are MUST WIN.
EnglishOxide Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 They have Sunderland and Norwich in the two games after this one, I think he'll be more focused on those. Has to be a win whatever the circumstances. The other side is they will view us as a free fixture. A draw or win against us relieves some pressure for their next two games. It could allow them to play with more freedom and motivation. I fully expect us to be prepared for that though.

Gerard Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 West Ham? That'll be a tough game. Tough game but would anyone seriously settle for a point at home to West Ham before the start of the match?
eastendfox Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 As someone said they can turn up for big games, one of their away wins was at Tottenham, so we'll have to be on it to win again.
MiniFox Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 Tough game but would anyone seriously settle for a point at home to West Ham before the start of the match? It's a winnable fixture, wouldn't settle for a point, but a point wouldn't be too bad either, 5 wins and a draw with 3 games left would probably be enough if we got anything out of the last 3 games.
ThingsCouldGetMessi Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 Newcastle look low on confidence and their defending was all over the place again Yesterday. This is the easiest game we have left and I think it will be a comfortable 3-0 win.
Amin Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 I'm expecting us to get something like 10 points from the next 6 games, then win the last 3.
Mikey Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 For me the aim of the squad should be to win the league in our next six games. Clearly scrapping away for Big Sam and he seems to have them organised. 14/18 is realistic but 18/18 is definitely achievable.
SpinneyHillRanger Posted 6 March 2016 Posted 6 March 2016 hope the players don't get over confident like us fans. Not sure if i would want Moyes or McClaren in charge. McClaren was talking about them having to defend better - so i think if he comes to the king power he is going to have men behind the ball, like the west brom game. I think it will be 3-0, but who knows, it's these types of games that can spring the shocks. Who thought Swansea would beat Arsenal at emirates?
