Hello to all of you on here.

Firstly congratulations on what a great 12 months you've had. I think you'll find that the majority of football supporters in this country are behind you in your push for what would be a remarkable title win.

On a selfish note, the whole of Wearside will be firmly behind you tonight and while the Fat Spanish Waiter might get them more organized than Tufty was able, he surely wont have had time by now. Sunderland are no world beaters and a fair amount of our players need replacing if we are to progress next season, but Newcastle are absolutely abysmal.

Come on Leicester.

I'm starting to think the stakes are higher now, all this talk of 'more pressure last year'.... We have the chance to create SPORTING HISTORY, possibly the greatest of all time. The stakes don't get any higher.

That said I believe this team truly don't think about it Mick and just get on with their jobs... Thank God

I see where you are coming from dylanlegend (just trying to control my nerves!) and so far there aren't any nerves from the players. Tonight is a huge game - we can do it!

He won't have changed them into winners in two days, he'll barely have had any time to get anything across. So most of their prep will have Schteve all over it still. What he might do is motivate them more, so controlling the game early is big for us... impose ourselves and that feeling of "he'll turn us into winners" will soon wear off.

Put Leo on the pitch, so if they follow the "how to beat Leicester" crap written about us and force us wide, we have him to get on the end of crosses. Like he has done against them several times already.

I expect us to come out all guns blazing today.

Hallelujah! He's not managed shite like this in the heat of a relegation battle before!

Reckon it will be a tough game tbh 2-2

Don't think they've got 2 goals in them, get one early and they'll drop their heads pretty quick. Game is live on my provider and I'll be watching hoping for a victory for the Foxes.

It should be the one just after half time.

Do Newcastle really have good players? I'm getting fed up of hearing how good of a squad Newcastle, Everton, etc. have on paper. For one I don't think its true and for another, football isn't played on paper.

Is there a single Newcastle player any of you would want in the Leicester squad? (and please don't say Shelvey. He is the most overrated player in years).

Shelvey has been handed their captaincy armband and has been hailed as Newcastle's best player by a mile since he signed by their fans. So take that as you will for how their squad actually shapes up quality wise atm.

I think the reason a fair few of us are worried about the game tonight (and fans of Newcastle and others alike are predicting we slip up) is in no small part down to the fact that this is an example of MONEY and timing potentially being able to alter the course of things, which is NOT of course for the good of football.

As much as I'd have to give credit to Newcastle should they win or battle to a draw, there's no way other clubs in the relegation places would have the financial clout and influence to be able to swoop for and get someone like Rafa Benitez. Especially so late in the season.

I truly believe we are fighting for the good of football tonight - because it's clubs such as NUFC that keep adding to the problem of finance dictating over the essence of the game itself.

3 hours, this is dragging on, worse than the Norwich game, at least with Norwich we hadn't had to wait ages after our rivals played...

Yeh but if we finish 2nd we are going to start next season in the top division and probably in the Champions League.

Sure there's some pressure but it's positive pressure. It's not really 'if we cock this up we're fvcked and our careers may go down the crapper' - like last season was.

The way Shinji is playing Leo could well be starting.
