Fleetwood's is mightly impressive in terms of the %! Small ground, but atleast they're filling what they have.

Ours is to be proud of, I think it's fair to say we've always had good support (In terms of numbers).

I had this debate with someone the other day, he said Newcastle's support is massive, I said i'd question them getting 19 - 20,000 if they went down the League One, is that not what we averaged? :dunno: I thought so. They said they'd get more than that without a doubt, I begged to differ.

If that's true, why do Man City seemingly have 1000's of empty seats every game?

Fans not turning up, happens at loads of clubs, Man utd sometimes have 10,000+ empty seats due to season ticket holders not going.

Every single week, consistanly?

Spose' that's Cov's excuse too.

Must have money to burn!

Yep, Arsenal had 170,000 fans not turning up after purchasing tickets for the 13/14 season.  Only a few clubs give actual attendance rather than actual tickets sold.

I might be being picky but Isn't our actual attainable capacity around 32200 as opposed to 32500

Yeh, we can't fit 32,500 in.

They aren't taking segregation into account I assume which is why these things are a bit misleading.

The Fleetwood data looks wrong, they usually get less than 3000. Last game they got 2500.

I agree with your Newcastle supporting mate, I think they would still get around 30k in League One.

I always like to consider size of town when comparing attendances - some town are very small compared to others (Fleetwood's population, for example, is only 25,000) - but there's no excuse for Coventry being all the way down near the bottom. They've lost so many fans over recent years.

I'm surprised how low Sheffild Wednesday are, and also Coventry.

why?  They are averaging over 21,000 this season which is pretty good tbf, the fact they have such a large stadium shouldn''t detract from a decent attendance average.

Yeah, I was going to add that myself. Hillsborough is huge at approx 40k.

Good point but they are doing decent in the championship, Sheffild is big and don't they have a big fan base.

Pretty sure we've sold out every home game since being promoted to the BPL? I can't seem to think of any home game which hasn't sold out to be honest. Considering we were bottom of the league last season and still got attendances such as 30-32k is impressive.

Impressed by Villa and Derby.

Wednesday's home support has always been below average, despite what they'll have you believe.

I'm going to give Norwich some credit then (just because my younger brother supports them). Their average attendance during their League 1 season was 24,758 which you could argue is excellent.

Norfolk has a population of over 850k and only one football team. It certainly makes me wonder how big a capacity stadium Norwich could have and still fill it regularly (minus segregation) and how big a club they could actually be if they were to leave Carrow Road.

Sheffield Wednesday ticket prices are stupidly high for a championship club aswell aren't they?

Yeah prices there are ridiculous. Home end and away end.

We've not, certainly some of the games in the middle of last season weren't sell outs.
