AyewJoking Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 Kasper Simpson Huth Morgan Fuchs Drinkwater Kante Albrighton Mahrez Gray Okazaki 2-0 win. ah, the lesser known 4231 formation
Dodgy Bob Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 Okazaki leading the line with Ulloa careering about behind him should work fine here. Otherwise sane team.
UPinCarolina Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 ah, the lesser known 4231 formation I don't see why it's unreasonable, given that it would effectively function like the 4-4-2...but the learning curve might be too much for a game that we need to win, at a time we cannot afford to draw or lose. This is not the time to play around with formations.
NotQuiteAFox Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 Hopefully the rest of the lads will be fired up from yesterday and Vardy suspended and pull together to get 3 points. Mahrez is due a performance and Ulloa has shown he has big goals left in him.
SCFC83 Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 Please roar them on to a great victory (draw at least please) Even if we don't I still reckon you will win the league. Please roar them on to a great victory (draw at least please) Even if we don't I still reckon you will win the league.
Detroit Blues Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 I think Okazaki can fill vardy's role more than Ulloa can. If we want to keep the team as relatively unchanged as possible I'd go: Kasper Simpson HuthMorgan Fuchs AlbrightonDrinkwater Kante MahrezKing (in the hole for Okazaki)Okazaki (replacing Vardy)
st albans fox Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 Wonder if we might go 3-5-2 as per last season when we played without vardys pace down the middle Would certainly catch Swansea out tactically

UPinCarolina Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 This has gone from "must win" to "FVCKING IMMENSE" with the stroke of the FA's pen.
hornyhollthefox123 Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 Shinji for me can't play alone as a 9. Not quick enough or strong enough. Think we need bodies around him. I'd go with a straight swap and get Leo in. He deserves a chance.
Guest CityFan 06 Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 We've got plenty of options in terms of attacking positions for this one. I can see Ulloa playing, and if so I think he's certainly worthy of a starting place given his overall performance and goal v West Ham. Sigurdsson is a great player for Swansea, I've rated him for a long time and he's got some excellent attributes to his game. As I understand they've hoovered near the relegation zone at times but even then I never thought they'd actually go down - I thought at the time they've got enough quality within their squad to stay up. Swansea have some good players in fairness - Montero, Sigurdsson and Ayew are just a few examples. I know they've just lost 3-0 to Newcastle, but by the sounds of it Newcastle put in a great performance and it probably does not necessarily reflect them as a football team, sometimes the opposition are just very good on the day in terms of performance and in front of goal. Having said this, I watched MOTD when they played NUFC and they did have a period of nice possession and play. They managed to create quite a few chances for themselves but ultimately they didn't quite convert them. But it still shows they are decent in matches and having looked at their recent results a majority of the score lines have been 1-2 or 0-1. Hopefully we can get the 3pts. I have faith in our qualities that we can get a positive result.

TrentFox Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 Anyone else got this down as our biggest game ever ?? If it goes wrong, we will all be doomed to forever look back and remember .......... Swansea!!! Of all the amazingly glamorous and sexy clubs in the world, we could potentially be synonymous with blooming Swansea. If there is a footballing God, please don't let that happen. I can't cope. Where's the quetiapine ???

Kitchandro Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 We're counting on Mahrez to score or at least make something major happen. Relying on Okazaki and Ulloa to score us goals is a terrifying thought.
Nalis Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 Ulloa did alright yesterday, wouldn't write him off just yet.
fuchsntf Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 I would still use Ulloa has a sub. Obviously without Vardy , tactics will change. We do still have scorers, in all front 5 postions. Lets see what Claudio decides, then back that descision, and every single player, because the line up could well be the one that takes us to the end of the season. Lets look at this as it reads, if Spurs drop points tonight.. The Swansea game, could well be the real 'must win' which would give us 76pts, with Spurs desperately knowing, they HAVE to win the rest of their games. Not because of our last results, but because their pressure it will set them under. This title is still in our hands...not Tottenhams. Now to give us a quirky hope, Spurs lose tonight and draw with WBA. SAF would have predicted correctly, with a Swansea win. Mind you I never predict.1 game at a time for me.I just see reading this forum, some fans are becoming uncomfortable, and worse far too negative...So King Richard and I want to put perspective, and hope back into the wavering fans. King Dick has sacrificed and punished his top knight, to show his own, and outsiders his other fighting blue knights, can charge and swaith and win the field, even with a top knight being blooded, and retiring from the battle.
ImBlue Posted 18 April 2016 Posted 18 April 2016 Not much confidence in Okazaki replacing Vardy in this thread. Considering it's supposed to be Okazaki's best position.
