I guess you're one of those who doesn't really enjoy the journey but feels relieved when the train arrives at its destination.

that statement resonates with me, I have season tickets for 3 clubs( retired, nothing  better to do)

its not just the match, its the journey has well, keeps me occupied

Waving champions flags even if they're from a few yrs back is beyond me. Feeling excited and enjoying the run in without fear is just how some of us are. Worrying over something that hasn't happened is one way of dealing with things.....another is to enjoy the moment believing in a positive outcome. Many variations in between...all fans and the spirit on GameDay is positive...to each their own how we manage stress but celebrating us as champions now might bite you in the arse.

I'm fairly sure the players, staff and everyone associated with the club ('our warriors' as you rather emotively put it) have been constantly calling for composure. Remember what Elliott and Izzet said about them blowing it in 2000-01 because they got carried away, and because too many people were crowing about title contenders or Champions League. Why not learn from them?

Look, I'm pleased for you that you've decided that you are the one with 'balls' while those among us pointing out that the title isn't won (which it isn't) are 'toxic' and 'pussies'; but over-confidence could actually have an adverse effect. That doesn't mean that you shouldn't make noise, be excited, enjoy every minute of it or truly believe that we will end up as Champions. It just means that those who wave 'Champions' scarves, banners, or gloat about something which hasn't happened yet, might actually be handing our opponents, and rivals, their team-talks on a plate, while simultaneously putting our own players under even more pressure. Yes, we've coped with that pressure beautifully up to now and I expect that will continue to be the case, but why add to it?

And I honestly hope those currently celebrating the foregone conclusion aren't stunned into silence if things go wrong on Sunday, nor feel the world is over if we aren't Champions come Tuesday. I hope the rest of us aren't studying pictures of people weeping over forlorn banners when we know full well there's an even more critical game coming up. If you go around prematurely proclaiming us to be the winners now - and I'm not saying that's what you, personally, are doing - then how will that stack up if we're clearly not Champions, and have a big job left to do next weekend? How will Everton feel when they see that, as far as we're concerned, it's a done deal that we roll them over? How might our own players feel?

It's arrogance and an unjustified sense of entitlement among fans, owners, players, which has seen the old guard come undone in English football. There's no reason why a club like ours should stumble into the same trap. There's work to be done, let's enjoy the work now and enjoy the celebrations, all being well, when it's over.

Right I need to clear this up once and for all Inckley, my positivity and intended rallying calls are not about entitlement or saying it's done, far from it! I strongly believe we are going to finish the job we have so ably and consistently carried out over 35 games and I would rather be positive and bullish than nervy as I feel nerves and twitchiness can transmit from the terraces onto the pitch

if certain results happen Sunday and Monday, which I truly don't think will happen, I will be as nervous as the next man at the Everton game, I won't constantly post that or show it in the ground.

I implore you and others to understand the sentiment and belief in my post and it's nature is a truly passionate rallying call never ever entitlement I've supported Leicester City Football Club for over 40 years (like many many on here) through thick, thin and thinner :)

I hope you understand and............

Chaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarge

Ps my true feelings are the boys might not do it Sunday, but I'd never ever write them off. I do also strongly feel if we don't Chelsea will finish it for us on Monday ....just my opinion!

That's an intriguing post. Three season tickets! Is Leicester one of your chosen few? If so, which are the other two?

city, manu, liverpool

I can understand both points of view on here - lifetime Foxes fans are just being very very careful not to upset the footballing gods. Showing off the trophy in the city is just plain asking for it.

I was seriously depressed with our chances with the Vardy suspension before the Swansea game until Claudio's press conference which completely lifted my spirit.

Can't wait for his wise words, because actually it doesn't matter what we say on here, it's what it said in training and in the dressing room that counts.

Come on Claudio, inspire us and the players one last time...(and beat Man Utd!)

Stringer posting on Twitter showing off the trophy.

At least if we don't do it, we can look forward to a public hanging of the tosser in the Market, because it will be his fault.

Yes, I can't argue with that. Apart from the 'chaaaaaaaaarge' bit, because I don't know what I'm supposed to charge at. I'm sure something will work itself out if we get round to winning the title.

Let's just say we draw 1-1 Sunday.

Spurs win 3-1 Monday.

Gap 5 points.

We draw 1-1 with Everton.

Spurs win 2-0 v saints.

Gap 3 points.

There's easily a chance this could happen. Then it would be going down to the last game. This isn't over yet

Shitting it.Please beat man u I'm a bag of nerves..

Yes it's not done yet and yes there are possibilities and permutations, I hear you loud, negative and clear.

I'm just glad the people that count, our warriors and Premier League Title winners elect have got focus, positivity and balls.

I'm finding this nervous pussy attitude tedious, toxic and for me it's spoiling what should be the greatest period in the clubs history.

So boys and girls you continue with the negative crap and I'm going to enjoy us winning the Premier League as this place is sucking out all the fvcking joy!

Am just scared as it's unknown territory for us and it's just such a huge a deal now it's a 2 horse race.Never been in this position before, so am finding it difficult to comprehend.

There's nothing toxic about us cautious fans, we just want to get over the line.If n when that happens then we can all go mental and reflect on what it means to us.

Fingers crossed.

I remember it only too well. Top two most of the season then to collapse with 4 to go. + losing the Cup final.

I think that history will drive the players on to achieve the title this time.

What's with the" for or against us" ???  My first game at Filbert St was back in 1970, I've been a fan since I was a kid but because I've never seen us in such a position before am very cautious and nervous.

"If" we win it, I'll sob my eyes out.Not for me, but for all the other fans, the players and the manager. Also for my old dad who's well into his 80's now and first took me to watch Leicester play.

So please, no more "bullshit"....

Be nice to just get it done. To achieve the dream at the theatre of dreams.

I'm sure we can win it there, but will we?

As it gets closer I get even more twitchy. God knows what I'll be like just before kick off.

The bullshit is called on your 'cautiousness is not toxic' maybe I overreacted on your specific post I'd had few pints that night, but the negativity on this forum is certainly toxic.

Fear is toxic, but a certain caution is not.

I'm positive however that we will be champions by 10pm tonight.

So the fat lady best be lubricating her larynx.

I remember that well too. Although for the last league game they left out many regular 1st team players to save them for the cup final. All sorts of minor injuries and illnesses that miraculously got back in time for the final.

As a massive pessimist, who couldn't see where our next point was coming from in the last few games or where Spurs might drop points, I take my hat off to those who truly believed and really were #FEARLESS.
