Mezeker Posted 31 July 2016 Posted 31 July 2016 I think we should sign Balotelli with a clause in his contract stating that any disruption to the team is grounds of immediate termination of the contract. I have said this before on the forum but there are only so many times you can **** up; i feel like his back is to the wall and he would have a fantastic season for us. The guy works very hard off the ball if you look at his games, if he was committed he would probably be the biggest talent on the squad. Edit: I also think he would fit in and blend in magnificently with the characters on the squad. The Ethnic blend of jovial characters, with leaders like Kasper, Huth, and Morgan, even Fuchs he would have no option but to fall in line. I really think we could be the perfect place for him to turn his career around.

A Gerd Muller type who's there for the tap ins or to deflect loose balls into the net. Shinji is give another season because he's a big part of he way we played, but also the attitude of the guy. I think with a good quality target man and the other three we'd be ok for striking options.

kingfox Posted 31 July 2016 Posted 31 July 2016 Ignacio Camacho or William Carvalho - Need a midfielder who can do defensive duties, but who is used to playing in a midfield two. All of last season Mendy played in a three, he is there to play spoiler, intercept then pass and let the others do the work, he isn't capable of playing in a two. Camacho & Carvalho did play in a midfield two last season, Camacho made 81 interceptions in just 23 games, probably wouldn't of reached Kante level, but he definitely would of made over 100 if he played 36-38 games. Carvalho as we saw at the Euros, not afraid to tackle, good passing range, offers a physical presence. Islam Slimani, Mario Gomez or Lucas Pérez - All different type of players, all can score goals. Just depends which one would fit into our system and style of play, who needs replacing more, Okazaki or Ulloa?
