HighPeakFox Posted 18 May 2016 Posted 18 May 2016 It's a well intentioned question which has no single answer. Therefore I will be facetious and give all the credit to Schlupperman for being heroically hilarious and very athletic all at the same time.
ARM1968 Posted 18 May 2016 Posted 18 May 2016 Actually it was all down to me and my brother listening to the matches in my garage. Started Easter time at the start of the Pearson great escape, continued until Sunday just gone. So folks it's down to me and my bro. Only three matches we didn't do this and you know the ones. Can't recall why for the first Arsenal game. Liverpool was Christmas and my kids wanted to play. Atsenal away was Valentine's Day so spent it with my wife. Categoric proof that the over riding factor was me and my bro.
Bluetintedspecs Posted 18 May 2016 Posted 18 May 2016 It was the sum of the parts brilliantly managed!
GloverFox Posted 18 May 2016 Posted 18 May 2016 It was the sum of the parts brilliantly managed! Agree, with one small amendment ... sum of ALL the parts ... the whole thing came together through the hard work and determination of every single entity associated to the club, such a fantastic single direction effort!
Daggers Posted 18 May 2016 Posted 18 May 2016 All journeys begin with the first step. And that first step was the initial redoubling of efforts.
Guest CityFan 06 Posted 18 May 2016 Posted 18 May 2016 Like mentioned above there's so many reasons to our success but if I had to pick one then it would be the team spirit for me. The group of players and squad work for each other so much every game - they work together as a team, score together, celebrate together and defend together. It's the best bond I've seen of a squad.
Lionheart10 Posted 18 May 2016 Posted 18 May 2016 There are so many reasons and all mentioned on here,if you took any one of a number of those out then we wouldn't have won it.
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 18 May 2016 Posted 18 May 2016 Anyone who puts the title down to one person or thing has missed the point so spectacularly that they should be banned from football for life. This.

How do you think that came about?
ballisimo Posted 18 May 2016 Posted 18 May 2016 That Nathan Dyer goal vs Villa. To be behind then to go on n win must have gave the players every mental boost under the sun.

Guest Col city fan Posted 18 May 2016 Posted 18 May 2016 The one single thing that won us the league was the simple fact that Ranieri came in and DIDN'T change the squad. He could have done. He could have wanted to put his stamp on us, sold some players and bought some players. But he waited, saw that Pearson had assembled a solid group of players and left it alone. That was crucial.

Changing the full backs after Arsenal was a big factor
Foxxed Posted 19 May 2016 Posted 19 May 2016 The Japanese Heskey is worth a mention. I was worried teams would eventually nullify our attack by marking Vardy and Mahrez. But Shinji's tireless making space for them both contributed to their success. I'm not sure if he 'won' us it, but without him neither Vardy or Mahrez would have been so effective.
