So That's Attacking Football is it Roy

I shook my head when we scored with a few minutes to go thats how much I didn't want us to score.  Now Woy will think what he did was justified because we won.  The annoying thing about all this is that England actually have a good squad.  They are just being sent out under orders and tactics by a guy who actually doesn't have a clue what he's doing and the sad fact is, thats not an exaggeration.

It was never going to be swift attacking football under woy those who thought it would be are delusional if are going to have to dig deep in every match to get a result

That's it exactly. He doesn't have a clue what team is best. And he's not played players in their best positions to find out. Send to experiment too much rather than try what works first.

We don't have a particularly good squad, but we have a small amount of exciting players and enough competent individuals to do well, if managed properly.

In truth, much like every England team for the last 15 years, most of the squad is hugely overrated but actually looks worse because our manager is so awful.

We've left 5 players at home who should be going and 3 of those should be starting based on this season's form. When you do that, you're already struggling.

Out of the 4 best English players this season - one has been left out completely and 2 played out wide tonight when they're central players.

We don't have a top squad which is why we need to make the most of what we've got and make sure we get everything tactically spot on. The sickening thing is not that we have plenty of average players in England, it's that we can't really do any worse with the resources we've got.

Last night was a whole new low for me.

Kane and Vardy- nevermind being out wide but the side play so high up the pitch that these two were camped on Portugal's 18 yard line with backs to goal for most of the game whilst the ball was passed aimlessly sideways round the midfield.

Then Rooney was going mad at one point because there was no movement. Where the f***in hell are they supposed to move to??

I'd say that was one of the most dull games I've ever watched with England and that says something. No one wants to get injured understandably.

We haven't got a prayer later this month. My only hope is that Roys fooling everyone into a full sense of security and in 8 days he'll go 442 with Vardy and Kane and force the midfield to release the ball early

Well at least rooney won't be around after this tournament. The bloke just seems to get in the way.

Only 30 I think. He'll be in the team for at least another 4 years, unfortunately.

Can someone just break his metatarsal or something? Something not very painful, but will keep him out of the tournament?

Come on, someone take one for the team.

Thank god that was the last friendly. Roy is slowly sapping all the excitement I feel towards the Euros with every passing game.

Boring, negative, slow tedious shit football. Yawn

Can't wait for the useless buffoon to be sacked.

Look at that FFS. That's our two top scorers in the league this season.

If he doesn't play 4-4-2, with Kane and Vardy up front, then his whole 'attacking football' rubbish will be shown up as absolute nonsense. Is he such a cretin that he thinks playing a 451 with three strikers - two of them on the wing - is somehow more attacking than playing with two out-and-out strikers?

Why not stick Rashford and Sturridge in centre mid, Woy. Then we'll be SUPER ULTRA ATTACKING.

Just tried to do the 'pick your England team' on BBC's website and I genuinely cannot come up with anything half decent with the 23 he's chosen. The only way of providing any width is using full backs or strikers who've scored 50 goals between them?! There's no reasonable explanation why not one of Albrighton / Townsend / Antonio are on that plane. Knocked out by the quarter finals to end a shameful tenure as England manager for Roy Hodgson.

Sad thing is even that touch in the centre was probably for a kick off...

Shame they didn't concede, would have been in double figures for touches.
