Gets it's the 'pace' appeal In your custom tactics, (you set them up from the team menu on the squad screen now, they save per squad) try lowering your pressure and aggression levels. They'll make your defence drop off so you don't play such a dangerously high line. You might find you prefer high pressure but it will help vs Musa and Co.
The People's Hero Posted 26 October 2016 Posted 26 October 2016 Thanks. I'll do that. Im actually doing ok in div 9. I have musa myself. I rotate musa/Okazaki/slimani between the two slots. Rooney/sigurdson/kaka in behind. It's not a bad front 3 really.

I've played against so many players that do this and it is a right pain in the neck. Their defence are so deep that its hard to even attempt a long ball over the top. Once I get past their midfield I think I'm through on goal until I come to the edge of their box and see this wall of defenders I actually might setup like this because I'm quite good at scoring goals but shit at defending and I always seem to struggle against the teams that setup like this.

It's still pretty shit in Div 9 tbh. won it last night with about 4 to spare final opponent had a 77 rated team, 55 chem, had clearly only managed to get there as he was a very good player. Having said that having innesita and Hazard playing on loan does feel like cheating somewhat

Surely if they are that deep you can try popping from distance and keeping them pinned in, bit of practice right player it's not had to get good from 25-30 yards.

I needed a goal to draw at the end of the match and I'm terrible at freekicks. I can't get the curl right and it must be hard on this version anyway because I haven't conceded one yet. So I just went for the power option. Aimed for the far left post and just tried a low hard one. Got way more curl on it than I expected and it pinged straight down the middle, straight at his keeper, bounced through his knees and went in. If I was playing any of you lot I'd have gone and scored an own goal because it was pure aids. The guy was a pratt and the lag had been awful though so I just ran off and celebrated. For the benefit of Heggsy and Ash I've uploaded it. Jokes.

On player instructions, set Slimani to get in to the box for crosses. If that's not an option it's already set for strikers. In custom tactics, set crossing higher.
