But obviously it hits home more rapidly when it is one of your own.Hope his recovery is slowly but surely taking place and that he goes on to lead as good a life as possible.

He's still very restless and isn't responding to voices yet, the nurses have said this will be down to the sedation. It's just a case of holding tight and praying he comes through this as quickly and as well as possible.

Currently at £20378. Just want to say a massive thank you to everyone that has liked / shared / donated so far, it's very much appreciated by everyone. Would love to get this up to £30k by time he comes home.
