Jimothy Posted 19 June 2016 Posted 19 June 2016 So based on the notion that Portugal deserved to win last night despite not scoring, I'm going to award Payet goal of the tournament for that chance that just hit the bar
DJ Barry Hammond Posted 19 June 2016 Posted 19 June 2016 Romania just hit the bar too... but that effort didn't deserve to go in, so it's all ok here
Dr The Singh Posted 19 June 2016 Posted 19 June 2016 So based on the notion that Portugal deserved to win last night despite not scoring, I'm going to award Payet goal of the tournament for that chance that just hit the bar I will be shocked if Payet is at West Ham next season.....the guy should be playing at a higher level
Merging Cultures Posted 19 June 2016 Posted 19 June 2016 France would have won this if Kante was playing
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 19 June 2016 Posted 19 June 2016 Can't believe that wan't a penalty awarded against Sagna at the end... I had a double on Switzerland and Albania to win, would have landed me £80
MC Prussian Posted 19 June 2016 Posted 19 June 2016 Wow, that was a great advert for football tonight. Well done, Albania.
apple987 Posted 19 June 2016 Posted 19 June 2016 All this talk of Swiss has made me fancy a Toblerone
Finnegan Posted 20 June 2016 Posted 20 June 2016 I actually think those Swiss shirts are genius. All shirts should be like that. Why were none of the idiots on the BBC pointing out that they wouldn't be ripping if the French weren't pulling them off everywhere? It's not happened like that in the other Swiss games? Ref should have been getting his cards out every time one went.

Serves them right for ordering skin-tight versions.

MC Prussian Posted 20 June 2016 Posted 20 June 2016 But they wouldn't rip if people weren't committing yellow card offences against your players? We've been able to observe plenty of defenders grabbing onto opposing attackers' shirts at this year's EURO, but I've not seen any of those crumble under pressure. Not as much as ours.

Not as much as ours. Pretty sure his point is, the way they're designed/made is a good way of showing that opposition players are pulling on your players shirts.
