apple987 Posted 19 June 2016 Posted 19 June 2016 Is it really that much of an advantage to play afterwards? Its pathetic both games being on at same time in my opinion. France have already qualified anyway

Nalis Posted 19 June 2016 Posted 19 June 2016 France 3-1 Switzerland Romania 1-0 Albania (hoping for a draw though)
Manwell Pablo Posted 19 June 2016 Posted 19 June 2016 France 3-1 Switzerland Romania 1-0 Albania (hoping for a draw though) This week (Monday slightly aside but as us thumping Slovakia is mutually beneficial) I am all about NI qualifying . Defo a draw best result in Romania game, failing that 1-0 Albania
Vlad the Fox Posted 19 June 2016 Posted 19 June 2016 Bastards, so I only get to watch one match today because they think it may effect how the teams play if they're aware of other results. Where is the consideration to the armchair fan in that.

Vlad the Fox Posted 19 June 2016 Posted 19 June 2016 you could always watch a re run of the 82 classic between Austria and Germany if your desperate for more football..... Ah, what a classic that was, tactical brilliance.
Merging Cultures Posted 19 June 2016 Posted 19 June 2016 What? I'm going to bed if he isn't starting. Ridiculous. They'll lose now.
Merging Cultures Posted 19 June 2016 Posted 19 June 2016 As if Kante isn't starting. I've seen it all now.'Resting'?! He can play two games a day. Maybe France are too confident.
Vacamion Posted 19 June 2016 Posted 19 June 2016 I loved it when they raised Granit Xhaka's disciplinary record. Steve Walsh-esque.
DJ Barry Hammond Posted 19 June 2016 Posted 19 June 2016 Football on BBC4 - I can feel the flurry of agitated pens from disgruntled viewers expressing their dismay to Points of View through my bones.
Merging Cultures Posted 19 June 2016 Posted 19 June 2016 Really losing out in midfield. If only they had someone who could dominate for them.
AKCJ Posted 19 June 2016 Posted 19 June 2016 Brilliant game this. France are playing as though they have a point to prove and Switzerland know that a win would mean they'd win the group. Funny watching in the knowledge that all France need do is bring Kante on and they'd win at a canter. So many times already where the Swiss have played straight through the French midfield. Doesn't happen when you've got Kante.
Phube Posted 19 June 2016 Posted 19 June 2016 Obviously resting their two best players for important games!
Finnegan Posted 19 June 2016 Posted 19 June 2016 He's not really being rested, he's being protected. He's got a yellow card, the amnesty isn't for ages yet.
AKCJ Posted 19 June 2016 Posted 19 June 2016 "Not sure that's a yellow card, not sure about the 7 rolls either" *slow mo clip shows Rami nearly taking the lads head off* *silence*
yorkie1999 Posted 19 June 2016 Posted 19 June 2016 Wish we had the luxury of being able to rest players for future games instead of having to drop them because they're rubbish.
Great Boos Up Posted 19 June 2016 Posted 19 June 2016 Oh my, isn't Shaqiri teeny tiny. He's running around untying everybody's shoelaces.
Vacamion Posted 19 June 2016 Posted 19 June 2016 At times during the season, Shaqiri and Arnautovic looked absolute class for Stoke. Both been pretty gash during this tournament, though... (Awaits moment of Shaqiri class in this game)
