Haha so if Wales get knocked out in the next round you're telling me Scouse won't start a thread titled "@@Finnegan" and every English bloke will tear him to bits for days? Ok pal lol

Probably to be honest but if we lose to ****ing Albania then I'll deserve it. :D

Well I'm going to Paris for the match on Saturday, going to enjoy watching Wales rather than a round pegged square holed team who play possession football and can't put it in the back of the net.

There were moments last night where I thought Slovenia might nick it by beating us 1-0 and we'd be out. If that's what it takes to get rid of Hodgson then maybe it'll be a blessing when it happens.

Ah, my bad!

Thought it looked wrong when I read it back but couldn't quite put my finger on why .... lol

Just me that thinks England has the easier first round knockout game for finishing 2nd rather than Wales for finishing 1st?

I did actually think this when I saw the changes Hodgson made, it's almost as if he would have been happy if we won as his players got a rest but just as happy to finish 2nd as it's potentially an easier last 16 game.

But then you play France, home time

And Wales will play belgium, who we beat and drew with in qualifying, without conceding

Interestingly I think your better suited to dealing with Belgium than we are and we're better at dealing with France than you would be. The French will be tough on home soil but they won't sit back and defensively I think they'll leave some serious space for Vardy and others to exploit. We'd only be facing them in the semi's had to finished top and won the last 16 and quarters anyway.

What Wales have done is great to see, let's rendezvous in the semi's again shall we.

Nope, I'm happy with 2nd.

I'm chuffed personally. I'm at work Saturday so was going to miss the game, get to watch it now lol

If we finished 1st we would have most likely have played Belgium quarter finals. This way looks like it will be France. But I don't mind it, imagine the pressure on France. I can see us winning it, we are better under dogs.

Depends who we wind up with.

Give me Albania then Belgium over Hungary then France any day of the week.

Obviously if you get Hungary or Austria and we get Croatia we'll be feeling a bit hard done to! Haha.

Although Wales played well yesterday, they beat the worst Russian team

I have ever seen... And were also woeful against England... At least Russia put up a fight against us. If that's what gets you excited.. Well it's a bit small team Mentality if you ask me...

As I've said you are better equipped to play Belgium and we are France, our style of play means both of us could very well be meeting again in the semi's which would be unreal! I think that's right isn't it, we'd play each other in the semi's should we get through?

You're either on the wind up or being exceptionally bitter, I'm not sure which it is.

You're a long way wide of the mark if it's the former, mind. I mean we ARE a small country, what's to be wound up about?

lol

Absolutely. We've got very lucky in the sense of we couldn't have been more luckier with how badly we've messed up! Albania are the dream for you. I am confident of both of us making the quarters, unless you get Croatia.

Well done Wales, I did say before the tournament england would struggle to finsh top of their group...I was mocked. lol

Oh and the welsh fans we're amazing once again, we filled the stadium against Slovakia and barely mustered a couple of songs.

I hope wales go further you've got every chance now.

Eh? The England fans sung pretty much non-stop throughout the entire 2nd half. The Wales fans occasionally choir sing a hymn like they're watching rugby. Fair play to Wales for being better at football than Hodgson's team but there's no way their fans are better. Most of them don't even like football.

How did the OP get +28, I forgot we had 28 Welsh fans on here.

Presumably those 28 saw ScouseFox' 473763784 "@Finnegan" posts and got the joke.

Presumably those 28 realised it was a bit of a laugh and there's no need to get grumpy about it.

Presumably those 28 have already had the humour transplant you've been waiting four years for.

Oh I'm still disappointed we finished behind Wales in a major tournament.
