Jamie Vardy agrees new four year contract at Leicester City.

Not to do with his contract but...

Jamie Vardy has undergone successful surgery on his right wrist and is recovering before joining up with Leicester City's pre-season game against Paris Saint-Germain in the USA.

The England striker performed for much of last season with two broken bones - wearing a protective cast during games - and required an operation as the expected fusing did not occur satisfactorily.

Vardy, scorer of 24 Premier League goals last term, delayed going under the knife until after the Euros so he could compete in Roy Hodgson's side but has now had the corrective surgery and is recuperating while on a family holiday.

The 29-year-old is absent from the Premier League champions' training camp in Austria after playing in France but is expected to link up with his teammates for the American leg of the International Champions Cup.

Claudio Ranieri's side face PSG in Los Angeles on July 30 and Hollywood producers are set to watch him in action ahead of talks over the movie about his life.

Vardy, who earlier this summer turned down a £20million move to Arsenal to sign a new contract at Leicester, has been granted time off alongside Christian Fuchs, Andy King, and N'Golo Kante, who all played for their countries at the Euros.

Leicester begin their pre-season fixtures against Oxford on Tuesday, before facing Celtic in Glasgow on July 23. They play Barcelona in Stockholm on August 3.

I sort of see your point MC but some of the behaviour and abuse was moronic, unforgivable and inexcusable.

I just hope their Mummies and Daddies find out and confiscate their access to the Internet.

Twitter is an idiots playground.

Merc reported this too. Positive news for him.

It's worth keeping screenshots, so in a few months when Vardy and Leicester have had another great season we can go back to him with proof that the writers a talentless fvcktard, click-baiting his way as a 'journalist'

One of John percey's articles this week mentioned he 'had signed his contract' earlier this month.

Hmmm, maybe he has signed then, but I'd imagine the OS would put photo's up or there would be some kind of confirmation he has actually signed, as I say maybe Percy's article is correct but i'd say he meant agreed opposed to signed.

About the goal he scored for England v Wales.

"but it was off a mishit by Wales defender Ashley Williams while Vardy was standing in an otherwise offside position."

No he wasn't "standing in an otherwise offside position".  He was onside when the ball was played by a member of his own team.  After that it doesn't matter.  He has spent the entire season running onto balls played through to him, perhaps this idiot might want to describe those as being in an otherwise offside position - if another teammate had played the ball before it got to him, but they didn't.  Oh and just for the record, if my aunt had had a dick she'd have been my uncle.
