Facecloth Posted 1 July 2016 Posted 1 July 2016 The greatest moment in Welsh sporting history and you're whinging about the English. Surely it was on S4C? I bet they didn't talk about England. SC4 tries to pretend England doesn't exist. Can't have the public learning such a place is real whilst they live in ****ing Wales! There'd be a revolt!
Cadno'r Cymoedd Posted 1 July 2016 Posted 1 July 2016 The greatest moment in Welsh sporting history and you're whinging about the English. Surely it was on S4C? I bet they didn't talk about England. Except you're the BBC. British. Not English. Enjoy the eve.
Cadno'r Cymoedd Posted 1 July 2016 Posted 1 July 2016 The greatest moment in Welsh sporting history and you're whinging about the English. Surely it was on S4C? I bet they didn't talk about England. And I love my English friends. Great night. I am pissed.
the_tank Posted 1 July 2016 Posted 1 July 2016 Leicester fan (check) Wales fan (check) Die happy (check)
Donut Posted 2 July 2016 Posted 2 July 2016 Wales just beat one of the favourites to get to a semi final for the first time ever and the ITV plan to spend half the programme talking about Hoddle having the England job Finners, your boys are exactly what a football team should be. You can graft, you have togetherness, and you have skill. England dont.
the_tank Posted 2 July 2016 Posted 2 July 2016 haha, fair play. marginally the better team even if they should be about 14-2 down if the ref had any eyes.haha indeed
the_tank Posted 2 July 2016 Posted 2 July 2016 Wales knockout stage victories in the last week: 2 England knockout stage wins in the last decade: 1 [/quote Fact
the_tank Posted 2 July 2016 Posted 2 July 2016 Brilliant Wales, 2 great goals to win it. Please dont let Portugal win in extra game or pens again. spauny bastards..prob will happen
foxes_rule1978 Posted 2 July 2016 Posted 2 July 2016 why?Well they are ranked 2nd in the World possess huge talent in De Bruyne, Hazard, Lukaku etc... and were well beaten by a side that has lower PL and championship players. So for them it is embarrassing , however as we know wales have proven to clearly be the better team, and have a great manager and that matters a hell of a lot more than some individuals that struggle to play together.Teams win matches not individuals , Denmark proved that in 92 and Greece in 2004, wales could do this and I would truly be happy for them if they do.
Cadno'r Cymoedd Posted 2 July 2016 Posted 2 July 2016 i'm sorry finnegan! bale is on like the reus/di maria/griezman level not the world class level of messi or ronaldo. neymar, robben & de bruyne probs a better shout of bein world class over bale too. bales probs bottom of the list of all these players in terms of world class Absolutely. Not.
GaelicFox Posted 2 July 2016 Posted 2 July 2016 Bale at this point is head the joint 2nd best player on planet If they win this for me he becomes the most important And by default the best
purpleronnie Posted 2 July 2016 Posted 2 July 2016 Ne'er a truer comment - really! There's a deep self-loathing running through the collective English psyche. I suspect it's to do with the god-awful class system and its inherent snobbery. The only time the English really get together is to either fight some other country or to fight themselves. Afterwards they can concentrate on re-drawing the social lines and keeping the peasants in their place. I often wonder what might have happened to the country had Harold sent William the Bastard packing - back to Normandy. It's why they still have a Queen (whom they all love - but doesn't give a rat's arse in reciprocation) and why they give important jobs (like choosing the England manager or running the country) to eejits. Funny old thing, nationalism. But I wander.... TBF the vast majority comments I've read from england fans are praising Wales, they'll always be those who can't bring themselves to praise another team.
Beliall Posted 2 July 2016 Posted 2 July 2016 That's the great thing about being British. We had 4 teams to support at the Euros
Sharpe's Fox Posted 2 July 2016 Author Posted 2 July 2016 Fair play Wales, when Fellaini came on it was over
ScouseFox Posted 2 July 2016 Posted 2 July 2016 at the Welsh sport bird on bbc breakfast. "every week we beat another giant of world football" yeah, slovakia, northern ireland, bloody giants
Guest Posted 2 July 2016 Posted 2 July 2016 I find it interesting that the Welsh came from behind to seize victory. Sounds like a Wednesday night in the Welsh pastureland.
Corky Posted 2 July 2016 Posted 2 July 2016 Wales were magnificent, two fantastic second half goals deserving to win the game. Andy King made the difference clearly For Robson-Kanu to have the confidence to try that was unbelievable, let alone carry it off. Four wins in five at the Euro's, averaging two goals a game, Championship players doing Messi like skills- amazing.
