The Quick Brown Fox Posted 7 August 2016 Posted 7 August 2016 I've not had a pleasant trip to Wembley and this just highlights the sort of people we have as fans. I know 99% of people are decent fans but these people make the good ones look in the minority. I heard about this before entering and finding my seat. Where has the respect gone for mutual fans?
Larry_LCFC Posted 7 August 2016 Posted 7 August 2016 Already a thread for this a few down but I can't link on my phone
howlinmadmurfdoc Posted 7 August 2016 Posted 7 August 2016 Could be worse, my next door neighbour spent the game in hospital because someone ploughed into the back of him at the bottom of the m1.

Was he hit near Brent cross as I think I saw a blue hatchback smash up who may have hit him around 1:25 and a couple of cars on the hard shoulder.

That accident pissed me right off meant we were delayed over an hour, having already experienced the National Express coach not picking us up so having to get taxis that didn't turn up until 1230!

Sorry to hear about the delay, did you get to the match on time? I heard about the national express delay too and with people in taxis that couldn't have been quick.

It was down to one lane and we were static for long periods of time. A number of us got out of the car and go for a piss on the hard shoulder. We got into Wembley 5 minutes to kick off so yes we just made the match but the day was already ruined - when you plan to get to Wembley for 12 to have a few beers and soak up the atmosphere but you're stressing over travel it's not good. National Express sent taxis from Leicester to come all the way to Coalville instead of using a local firm, which added at least 30 minutes onto the journey from when they finally told us that there had been a cock up and they were organising taxis.

Guest Mee-9 Posted 8 August 2016 Posted 8 August 2016 It's a free t-shirt. This forum sometimes. You'd have thought they'd have stolen anal virginitys rather than a quid t shirt.

Doesn't matter if it's a free t shirt or keys to a super car, our "fans" shouldn't be taking something that has been given as a gift to someone else, especially when they have already been given one for themself.
n3alo Posted 8 August 2016 Posted 8 August 2016 Just a point of interest, were all the T shirts medium size or were there a mixture around the stadium?

Free t-shirt you can only get at that game, could be worth a decent amount of dollar in a few years time when we are shit again, people know this, otherwise they wouldn't steal them.
Sol thewall Bamba Posted 8 August 2016 Posted 8 August 2016 If someone really wants one that badly PM me and I'll bring mine to the Arsenal game. Genuine offer.
willie-bell-in-rothley Posted 8 August 2016 Posted 8 August 2016 I also saw the t shirts being nicked, a young lad was gutted when he got to seat and had'nt got one, the four in question at the start of this thread had pinched it, Luckily a chap in front of me didn't want his so i got that for him, he went home clutching his memory of his first trip to Wembley, To some its not just a t shirt its a small gift from the club. Long may it continue
