Fox92 Posted 12 August 2016 Posted 12 August 2016 The club is absolute rip off. From £6 delivery charges to food and drink in the concourse. They make so much money, we are worth about 5% of their income so just drop the prices. £4 for a programme now, fvck off. When we played in League One I went to away days at places such as Cheltenham and everything was cheap. You'd think clubs like that need money more too. It's sickening they know they can drop prices but don't. They rake it in from the Premier League yet still rip their own fans off.
Wymsey Posted 12 August 2016 Posted 12 August 2016 Anyone else thought that was Wellens in the picture? Delivery charge should be in region of £3 and no more.

In fairness to the club £4 is more or less about the standard rate for magazines these days. Though the £6 delivery charge is hilarious !
davieG Posted 12 August 2016 Author Posted 12 August 2016 I think the £6 tells you they prefer not to deliver it but feel they have to offer it online.
glenny_fox Posted 12 August 2016 Posted 12 August 2016 terrible cropping of Vardy's hair on the cover. looks like they've just done it on paint.

urban.spaceman Posted 12 August 2016 Posted 12 August 2016 Is it just me or is Vardy's hair the only part of his head that's actually in focus?
NorthernFox Posted 12 August 2016 Posted 12 August 2016 Because they use DHL to deliver its £6 regardless. I've just ordered this and two programme binders (£15 ffs each!!) and the postage stays the same. BTW, after umpteen attempts to get somebody to answer a phone at the club shop does anybody know if they stock shirts for those of us of a more "rotund" nature? For years i've been able to buy 2xl, 3xl etc as ive got older and fatter but on LCFC direct they only have S to Xl.
Matt Posted 12 August 2016 Posted 12 August 2016 I remember when STH's got a free monthly magazine in the 90's, or so I seem to remember!

Had the same issue re shirt sizes - managed to get a larger size in the red away shirt but the home shirt is sadly not available yet. Asked someone about it last week when the new stock came in and he said they should have got them in but he doesn't know why. Hopefully they'll come in eventually. 7 minutes ago, Matt said: I remember when STH's got a free monthly magazine in the 90's, or so I seem to remember! I remember that! I think it was about 4 quid back then. I seem to remember they were struggling for content so they did almost a full issue on previewing the new website!

Same problem for me with the shirts I went to jc sports today who didn't have any blues above xl and the bloke there said he had been promised a delivery but he hasn't had a delivery for 4/5 weeks now It might be an easy question for someone to answer but why are the different coloured kits different sizes i compared a xxxl red to a xxl white and they were both the same size
Guest Posted 12 August 2016 Posted 12 August 2016 Was about to go off on a sanctimonious rant about the perils of modern football until I realised 'Grab The Brand' wasn't actually the name of a new LCFC magazine.
MC Prussian Posted 13 August 2016 Posted 13 August 2016 Might as well and wait until the end of the season, then order all copies at once.
