So simple. Google Brad Paisley mona Lisa, play it, hear the chorus. So simple even L1 will get it! Ooh ooh ooh matty james, ooh ooh ooh matty james..... If this isnt ringing round the KP next home match there'll be trouble. Me and Tom will definitely be singing it for 90 minutes at the QPR game.

I was only jesting about L1 guys, but I do think we should keep chants simple, then everyone gets it. Bloody good tune though, and perfect for James - or liam moore, or geoffrey schlupp, or andy king. Edited by steveherbe

Above is a post I put on the new chant thread a while back. It got a couple hits on that thread but just thought I'd cut and past it on here anyway. It's simple and catchy. It could work if we do want to change his chant and for a united lad it's good as it's a united chant. Must admit it quite like the 'baby give it up' version though. Whilst not lyrical genius it certainly gets everyone going.

There's some good stuff that gets overlooked in there. For every good one there's 8 shite ones and 6 kolo/yaya suggestions (wouldn't mind but we already do that now anyway).

OPs idea is original for a reason. Nobody has heard that song and its pretty dreadful. The best chants are based on well known tunes because obviously everyone can join in.

...please for the love of nige tell me nobody has heard this song before.

Why do we? I do wonder who our fans think we are sometimes. There's nothing wrong with that chant at all.
