then  you must be "shite" too ...

have registred in mutiple club forums supporting our national players in the past and never noticed such reactions from fans, its a shame.
Bougherra >> rangers forums
Belhadj and Yebda >> Pompey Forums

So, you find it strange that people get irritated that they have to read trough 400+ spam posts to find a decent comment?

Your logic makes me laugh.

The players you mention played for teams (by far) less prominent these days than Leicester City. The Portsmouth FC FB page has 200'000+ fans, Rangers about half a million. We're past the six million mark now, that's a factor 12 to 30. lol

Of course you'll get more reactions now than with Rangers followers or Pompey fans.

Besides, when Bougherra, Belhadj and Yebda were playing at these clubs, Facebook was still in its early years, so nowhere near as popular as today, in particular in the Arab world. You'll surely admit that internet services and smartphone supply has increased tremendously in Algeria and Northern Africa since then, as well. It's only logical that more and more Algerians (in Algeria) have better access to the internet, including the ones who don't know how to spell or can't use a smartphone properly.

Nothing wrong with a bit of passion.

Having translated some of the comments, there are crazy bastards advertising sheep for sale. Our Facebook page advertises sheep. SHEEP.

Oddly enough Riyad's official facebook page has much less spam.

There's loads of algerians there too but they seem to leave more sensible/relevant comments in comparison

Now I know why I'm in such a bad mood after being on here!

If only we were a middling championship team again then the real prize in all of this, the Facebook page, would be usable again.

Someone needs to tell them they'll probably have more luck on the Swansea page.

Actually looking at some of the numbers: That video of the interview with Slimani had 343k views. The video of Vardy's goal against Swansea had 708k views. These are excellent numbers for Facebook.

Most Facebook pages become impossible for good discussions after about 50 thousand likes, at 6 million it'll be crazies and trolls no matter what, even without the Algerian invasion.

If someone wants to discuss something on the LCFC Facebook page, the best thing to do would be to share it to a supporters organisations page and discuss it there.

But the good news is: Leicester City is now the top Premier League club in at least two countries, Algeria and Thailand.

Did anyone see last nights post summarising the players that had turned out for their national teams on Saturday. About 100 comments asking why Mahrez and Slimani weren't mentioned lol

If they're such big fans they'll know they play later today! lol

And why can't any of them spell Mahrez or Leicester correctly!

I can see the point being made here, the latest post about Fox Travel for Brugge has got 14 comments, not one of them is relevant to the post, most of them are just that little emoji of a bloke with an Algeria scarf, the others are just people writing either "Mahrez" or "Slimani".

In that case we should direct them to the Derby or Swansea forums for more sheep action

I worked with his....well I guess she'd be Ex Girlfriend for want of a better term.

Down in Creepy Crawley on loan these days, think he'll end up playing non league before too long. Doesn't seem to put enough away in League Two.

The reactions following yesterday's defeat are once more very telling.

The posts consist of 95% Algerian spam, idiotic comments from young trolls with little to no knowledge or genuine interest in our club or its history.

"No Slimani, no party", Mehrezz", Algerian flag gifs, etc. ... Seriously?

Surprised the club doesn't do anything about it. The least you can do is hide the posts from the rest of the world.

Again with the Facebook page.  let it go mate. And why the club should do something about that. As long as they respect the club and players. They shouldn't be a problem. And like I said before. The page can't be helped. Move on . we got mahrez and slim out of the deal. I am happy with that.
