lgfualol Posted 26 September 2016 Posted 26 September 2016 could be in a spot of bother http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2016/09/26/exclusive-investigation-england-manager-sam-allardyce-for-sale/
VLC86 Posted 26 September 2016 Posted 26 September 2016 Who knew Big Sam was dodgy? Other than everyone.
Jon the Hat Posted 26 September 2016 Posted 26 September 2016 He should be gone for that. What a knob.
VLC86 Posted 26 September 2016 Posted 26 September 2016 Next on the list is Pardew, we are hilarious.
brucey Posted 26 September 2016 Posted 26 September 2016 The Telegraph began investigating corruption in English football last year after receiving information that specific managers, officials and agents were taking or receiving cash payments to secure player transfers. Over the coming days the Telegraph will detail how: The assistant manager of a high-profile football club accepted a £5,000 cash “bung” Ten managers were named by players’ agents as taking bribes to fix player transfers Two well-known managers discussed becoming ambassadors for the same fictitious firm as Sam Allardyce Another high-profile manager admitted his players broke FA rules by betting on their own games but he failed to report it A senior figure at a Premier League club helped undercover reporters to formulate a plan to bribe managers Drama incoming!
Guest MattP Posted 26 September 2016 Posted 26 September 2016 Going to be difficult for him to ride this out.
brucey Posted 26 September 2016 Posted 26 September 2016 Just had a terrible thought...... If Sam gets fired/suspended... surely Shakey as assistant manager gets to be caretaker, and possibly then offered the job..... Might he leave us if offered it??
Dan Posted 26 September 2016 Posted 26 September 2016 I hope it ends up in a dispute where he gets the boot and he blows the FA's cover. That would be glorious, and would make him instantly my favourite ever England manager.
Tuna Posted 26 September 2016 Posted 26 September 2016 Sam Allardyce mimicked his predecessor Roy Hodgson’s speech impediment by calling him “Woy” and saying he was no use as a public speaker because “he’d send them all to sleep”.
GaelicFox Posted 26 September 2016 Posted 26 September 2016 Sacked cannot ride this out ! Why do your press do this to your national team madness
Dan Posted 26 September 2016 Posted 26 September 2016 Our press are scum. If there are any worse on the planet in terms of football I'd be amazed. I think his position is probably untenable, but there's a lot of truth in what he did actually say.

I agree in essence it's facts and cash but there is no way the FA can over look it cheap sacking as well as its bound to be a breach of his contract behaviour clauses steve Bruce will be England manager very soon !
Ozwin Posted 26 September 2016 Posted 26 September 2016 If they sack him it just gives the ivory tower lot an excuse to put in another yes man for the forseeable future again. I can't be dealing with that.
MC Prussian Posted 26 September 2016 Posted 26 September 2016 I was just about to say that many things that Allardyce mentioned there were true, if not self-critical. Not playing bench warmers, the New Wembley being an expensive affair, ... In the end, it boils down to personal opinion (BEFORE he was elected new England manager). The sad part is that he comes across as equally morally and financially corrupt in some of his other answers. Why the Telegraph needed to come out with this now will forever be their secret. I think it reeks a bit of a smear campaign also, with the repercussions potentially setting the national team back even further. The mention of the Royals at the end turns an otherwise decent read into one tabloid-ish report.

That’s the end of that, done that, I’m off. I’m going to stand at the bar, have a few social drinks.” fcukikg get the pints in lads

Full sail ahead and let the best pirates prepare the planks for Les Miserables and the dumb bosos like us...
Guest MattP Posted 26 September 2016 Posted 26 September 2016 3million quid a year and still prepared to risk his reputation to earn a bit extra doing something dodgy. What is wrong with these people?
ealingfox Posted 26 September 2016 Posted 26 September 2016 You can just see him absolutely dropping a bollock as flicks to the back of the Telegraph whilst crimping one off tomorrow morning.
Matt Posted 26 September 2016 Posted 26 September 2016 Corrupt? Working for the FA? He'll fit right in.
