As much as I love the idea of us having a one club player in the age where loyalty is at a premium. Is it time for Sir Andrew King to move on? As much for his sake as ours? No chance I think. We gave him a nee contract on fairly big wages I would imagine, nobody would pay him anywhere close.
Tuna Posted 16 October 2016 Posted 16 October 2016 King suits a team that plays 3 in midfield, which we do not.

You might be right but all I'd say is ... 1) Then why did Kante go ? 2) They have crazy money to burn I stated this thread cus the pendulum may have swung from who we might get to who might think what am I doing here ... Last season we had, IMO, the best central midfield in the country ... Half of that has gone and I wonder what is going through DD's mind ... He is our standout player and still seems to have a real energy and desire to win ... He also wants to prove himself as an England player ... Yesterday for the first time he looked jaded .... Why ??? Strong management is now required and I hope CR will sort it out .... Sometimes there is a very fine line between success and failure.

The sad reality is a club our size if it ever gets any success will be quickly pillaged. 11 hours ago, sylofox said: WOW JUST WOW. So what do you call success? I take it being league champions is the new penalty. We lost Kante in the summer we could lose Drinky hardly pillaged. I don't see many others going the way they are performing we are stuck with them. I agree with Chrysalis. With the quality we would be left with if Drinky does leave, I'd feel as though we have been pillaged. It would be the heart of a title winning side taken away from us. Take away Kante and Drinky, then Vardy and Mahrez can't cope. Take away Vardy and Mahrez, and it's a different story. I don't think he meant it as in "if we ever have any success", more that when any club has success, the bigger clubs are after what made that team successful. So you should probably think about what your saying before you patronize some one for their views.
Fox92 Posted 16 October 2016 Posted 16 October 2016 Nobody. If anybody has watched us so far this season they'll see only Drinkwater, and Gray with his potential, is worth buying.

My comment was a reply to "if a club our size ever gets success" So winning the prem is not a success now ffs.

It's a success for any club, regardless of the size. He didn't say that it wasn't a success either. So what's your point?

Just the same as you have done with me just as people al over the world can. And how fvcking boring life would be if we all agreed.

No need to swear really is there?
Ted Maul Posted 16 October 2016 Posted 16 October 2016 Drinkwater is head and shoulders above the rest at the moment. He'd be the one to attract attention from the big clubs, and I think United would tempt him if our league form continues. I don't think we would want to sell in January, but next summer might be a struggle.

TheLittleBigMan Posted 16 October 2016 Posted 16 October 2016 Can see Pulis bidding for Schlupp again in jan. James simply has to go on loan (if fit!) and I do worry about drinky come the end of the season. Ulloa, I wouldn't of thought will be happy to continue on with us with his lack of game time. Other than that it will depend as much on who we bring in.
foxy boxing Posted 17 October 2016 Posted 17 October 2016 james to go on loan and i think we may just keep ulloa till the end of the season if we can get a replacement.can't see shlupp going at least not yet.
