Countryfox Posted 15 October 2016 Posted 15 October 2016 Just when you thought it can't get any worse .... DD ? ... Doesn't bear thinking about ... Anyone else ? So what do we do about it ... ? (Yes they all have contracts but CR has said .. "ifa they wanna go they cana go !")
MPH Posted 15 October 2016 Posted 15 October 2016 I think if anyone put any bids in for any of our defense they may well be considered because that's the main department that is consistently letting us down... midfield and attack letting us down too but not to the scale the defense has so I'd imagine Ranieri has his eyes on some defenders. At least he better had...
Matt Posted 15 October 2016 Posted 15 October 2016 Drinkwater at this rate. He's the only player that looks like he's trying, he's carrying the team, if it's true his former club, hometown club, probably the club he supports are after him think it'd be hard to turn down. Obviously the club need to accept a bid but people were worried about unhappy players in the summer in Kante, Vardy and Mahrez don't see why Drinky would be any different.
norwichfox Posted 15 October 2016 Posted 15 October 2016 Vardy, Musa, Morgan, Mahrez, Mendy, Simpson, Albrighton (complete with medical kit)........need I go on?
lgfualol Posted 15 October 2016 Posted 15 October 2016 Drinkwater Ulloa and James probably. Nobody else will be touched because of their wages. Going to be expensive to buy players, especially from europe.
stevelcfc Posted 15 October 2016 Posted 15 October 2016 With a bit of luck Schlupp. Think we'll be okay in Jan but the summer may be a different kettle
Crinklyfox Posted 15 October 2016 Posted 15 October 2016 If we are still in the Champions League I can't see a rush for players to leave in January. Next summer could see some departures if we continue to underperform and I'm not going to mention the 'R' word and its consequences if it happens.
Koke Posted 15 October 2016 Posted 15 October 2016 Not worried about DD. I actually don't think other clubs rate him that highly. I hope Schlupp goes. If we can get WBA to pay £10m for him or a naive Championship club to overpay for him then all the better. We could have gotten up to £25m for Schlupp and Ulloa combined but there were people here who actually wanted to keep them both. Amazing.
GaelicFox Posted 15 October 2016 Posted 15 October 2016 Drinkwater is going no where till next summer and then he will be off to United to partner pogba
ceebeefox Posted 15 October 2016 Posted 15 October 2016 Drinkwater will go and once he dons a United shirt will suddenly become an England regular as if they made him better when, as a proper all round midfielder he is already head and shoulders the best in the country.
Wymsey Posted 15 October 2016 Posted 15 October 2016 Ulloa for some reason. May feel he needs to play more minutes if his rate continues, isn't getting any younger. Hope we get a decent young CB and/or RB in as well as Silva for CM.
steflcfc Posted 15 October 2016 Posted 15 October 2016 dependant on first team opportunities Oka/Ulloa may not want to warm the bench Jeff, take anything clearly not good enough. Drinky if United come calling loan offers could be in for James/Was championship Chilwell/Gray/Kasputska lower prem loans for first team action. training pitch will only learn them so much. My concern is after this season we could be be left with a few players wanting to see out their long contracts and have a struggle moving some players on. We dished out a few longer contacts too easily. Feel we may have more Paul Gallagher situations arising in the future.
Guest Col city fan Posted 15 October 2016 Posted 15 October 2016 If Drinkwater does go (I doubt it) I think we'll be relegated. Or very near to being so. It's that simple for me. Our midfield is frankly, dross at this level. He's the only one with real quality.
Chrysalis Posted 15 October 2016 Posted 15 October 2016 Drinkwater will go if utd come calling, but if we get morgan in return we should be ok as he managed to shine in a solid southampton team. The sad reality is a club our size if it ever gets any success will be quickly pillaged.

We lost Kante in the summer we could lose Drinky hardly pillaged. I don't see many others going the way they are performing we are stuck with them.
adejo92 Posted 16 October 2016 Posted 16 October 2016 DD is great for Leicester as he fits the way we play. Not sure how much other teams rate him to be fair and i think he may look lost in a Man Utd team. Hope he stays!
Aus Fox Posted 16 October 2016 Posted 16 October 2016 Dare I say it, before I start I love the bloke to pieces and would give him a standing ovation every time he touched the ball, even in opposition. As much as I love the idea of us having a one club player in the age where loyalty is at a premium. Is it time for Sir Andrew King to move on? As much for his sake as ours?
Patrick Posted 16 October 2016 Posted 16 October 2016 Hopefully Schlupp can be sent stacking shelves in Tesco where he belongs, he is stealing a living as a footballer.

m4DD0gg Posted 16 October 2016 Posted 16 October 2016 Some total total bullshit in this thread, Drinkwater will not go anywhere in January. 1) We will probably be in the next round of the Champions league....wtf would you leave to progress that. 2) Even if we are not it would cost united crazy money in January.
