Ted Maul Posted 21 November 2016 Posted 21 November 2016 'Just when you think it couldn't get any worse' is a bit extreme because we're Leicester City, and yes, things could (and usually do) get far worse, no matter how bad things seem at the time. As a club, we will always go through good periods where we're winning and longer periods when we're not. However, I think we're just in a rut and not one of our long term bad runs. We've got the majority of the ingredients for a competitive team, we just need a quality CM, a younger, quicker CB to bring through, some confidence and a bit of luck. We'll be fine.

Just when you think it couldn't get any worse - after Saturdays latest serving of shit hoofball. we are faced with the prospect of having the worst midfield paring in the league for 3 games. Better?
Dan Posted 21 November 2016 Posted 21 November 2016 Knew something like this would happen. It's all going a bit belly up.
MC Prussian Posted 21 November 2016 Posted 21 November 2016 Drinkwater wins the header duel against Behrami, speeds past him in pursuit of the ball, Behrami grabs Drinkwater by the shirt and pulls him back, Drinkwater lets the elbow do the talking. There is definitely movement, but I'm not sure about the contact. I thought the ref let it slide because the two evils sort of cancelled each other out, so why chasing after Drinkwater now?
Wymsey Posted 21 November 2016 Posted 21 November 2016 I believe Howard Webb is on the three-man panel to investigate incidents after matches have been played. He'll probably think the ref missed this one and bring forward a punishment.
Terraloon Posted 21 November 2016 Posted 21 November 2016 Based on cases already been dealt with by way of retrospective I suspect that a charge will indeed be laid and even if he didn't make contact , which I think he did, that would have been more luck than judgement
AyewJoking Posted 21 November 2016 Posted 21 November 2016 maybe danny did it on purpose to get a rest?
RoyFox Posted 21 November 2016 Posted 21 November 2016 Even though Behrami is clearly pulling his shirt (something which he did more than once), that's going to be a ban. We're in big trouble, Boro looked decent against Chelsea, Sunderland have momentum and then Man City at home. King and Amartey will get destroyed. Prepare ourselves for some painful viewing!
norwichfox Posted 21 November 2016 Posted 21 November 2016 I Kguess we're lucky that it's during our "easy to win games" period He'll get a ban, it's written in the fcuking sun after all.
AyewJoking Posted 21 November 2016 Posted 21 November 2016 492 posts since july 04! hey we joined around the same time! and we have the same name!

Better? I'm aware that it's not going well. My point was that things can always get worse, and as a Leicester fan, you need to know that for the sake of your own sanity

RowlattsFox Posted 21 November 2016 Posted 21 November 2016 To be fair these are the sort of times where King comes in and does well, its when he starts to be considered first choice that he turns to shit. Amartey may also take responsibility a bit more, seems to always want to give Drinkwater the ball. Maybe.
Ric Flair Posted 21 November 2016 Posted 21 November 2016 No doubt Kapustka still won't get anywhere near the match day squad. I'm still mystified Wasyl was involved at the weekend when we had Hernandez and Amartey in the squad who can fill in across numerous defensive positions.
Wymsey Posted 22 November 2016 Posted 22 November 2016 Surely the FA are making it quite late now to punish him if they deemed the action as unacceptable? I think he's let off now.
