Questions need to be asked

No, no. No they don't.

Everything is fine mate, 442 is fine. The same disjointed performances are fine.

Just pretend everything is OK and don't say anything bad about the players or the manager and everything will be fine.

No point signing players if they;re going to be sent on the pitch with tactics like this week after week after week after week

But it is a mess though.

we are playing poor most games bar a few good plays.

still think we will get better but improving the squad in January is vital.

Seriously, you're satisfied with this? He's spent a lot of money since coming, a lot more than Boro who out thought, out fought and out played his team.

Why is it ok to criticise players but the manager who got all the plaudits last year cannot be questioned at all. This is pathetic and fans are allowed to question it.

He has spent a lot? Oh Musa, Zieler, Amartey etc are Ranieri signings now?

We shown last season that money isn't everything, fair play to Middlesbrough, but a season is 38 games long. We have had a terrible premier league season so far, they've had a decent/good one, and we're still above them.

things will click once we get everyone fit, available and firing.

I am pretty sure Ranieri signs off on signings. Whether it be Walsh who scouted them or someone else. I also believe he highlights the problem areas (alongside his coaching staff) and areas of recruitment. The fact we haven't bought a defender worth picking or a centre midfielder is concerning. I don't get that comment about players being Ranieri's signings.

i hope you're right. For now though, the criticism is warranted.

He signed off Kante then lol

I love the blame and credit game on here. It's just flipped to suit any argument.

Amazing that people can call Zieler Amartey etc the worst players to pull on a shirt, then criticise Ranieri for only getting a point lol if the players are as bad as people make out on here, the bloke deserved a knighthood

we we don't look amazing, it's injuries to likes of Mendy and Kasper, Drinky suspension, an out of form Vardy. But we're 13th and haven't even got out of first gear. I see top half finish

Again, I don't understand the comment on Kante. Are you saying he doesn't have any input on signings or who we should sign or what position? Otherwise, the manager would have an input would he not?

it isn't a flip, I am saying they haven't been good enough. We haven't invested wisely or in the right positions. How is that flipped? Am I missing something? Is Ranieri being forced to sign players in positions he doesn't want by someone in the board room? I haven't seen this so quite clearly do not understand.

amazing? Mate, we barely look premier league. Mendy has hardly kicked a ball so I will reserve judgement on whether he will make a major difference. Losing Kasper is a massive loss.

However, our lack of being able to compete with teams who we should be around is scary. It's not like we are having a bit of bad luck. Our performances are pathetic. I would class them as relegation fodder at the moment. To me, that is unacceptable.

Mendy has been an awful injury. Had he been available, we'd have two premier grade midfielders able to pick out our increasingly attacking looking team.

Instead we wore out our one world class midfielder. And the rest were no protection for a central defence crippled by the new grappling rules.

Add on that  our other midfield signing never shined. And our best striker from last season has looked a shadow of himself.

The problem's been well known since the start of the season. And with limited central midfield resources, there's only a certain amount Ranners can do.

All I am saying is why shouldn't the manager be held accountable for what has quite clearly been a poorly run recruitment campaign and what so far looks a pretty shoddy season.

By questioning him, it doesn't mean he deserves the sack. It means, at present, he is not delivering on many aspects of what his job entails.

Tactics are poor, midfield is poor, signings are poor, team depth is poor and performances are flat.

It it is not blasphemy to say the manager is not delivering. He is not and there is no excuse as everything that goes good is credited to him. So when it goes wrong, you have to look at him.

Signings look poor - Ranieri has an input.

tactics are poor - Ranieri has an input.

lack of squad depth - Ranieri has an input.

His is lack of control over the situation can all be brought back and shown as him being accountable for something.

Its ridiculous that any word of criticism at him is met with you want him sacked Blah blah. Well, I dont. I do expect a better structure and team performance than what I am seeing this year.

What's the meaning of life?

Why do fat people get the same baggage allowance as I do?

If plate shift means England is moving away from France at 9cm per hundred years, what will happen to the Chunnel ??

Is that enough?

I think Claudio should adapt. He seems too set on last year 442 formula.

A lot has changed, no kante babysitting, teams have adapted to our tactics, players like vardy not performing and letting the money lose their drive and hunger.....

He needs to change tactics and personnel. It was obvious to most who have seen us, king and amartey are not going to perform against any premier league team, we need three in there. Conte adapted at Chelsea cant understand why ranieri seems so backward and stubborn

The problem is we don't have 3 fit c.mids which limits what we can do formation wise.

I'm not disagreeing, and obviously Raneri isn't above criticism, and the failure to bring in another defensive midfielder is obviously a problem, but if you're going to play devil's advocate, I find it hard to deny that a fit, well integrated Mendy would have made a massive difference to our fortunes, something out of Ranner's control.

Agree with the bit about injuries, but Claudio gets no sympathy, and I am a fan of the bloke, and want him to stay, but every manager has injury problems, and at times have to change the way they play, to adapt to the players he is having to use, sadly Claudio isn't, he sticking to what isn't working

I take it we were not very good today against a Team that gave Chelsea close and drew with Man City.

I couldn't get a stream and the mother in law wanted to go shopping, daughter wanted picking up and the Christmas shoppers were out in force along with the Welsh supporters.

Sounds like normal service has resumed, tickets should start coming available soon.
