Ha ha and before anyone shoots me I never said he would go.

Just know there has been an enquiry not sure if it is Everton or not but the price that has been quoted to interested club is 22m.

Like i said I'm not saying he's in his way or that will be the final fee if he does go but that's what has been quoted as the starting point.

No worries bud

sounds too low for me but I guess he is mainly potential still not the real deal (as yet)

Gotta agree with Simo here, if people report what they hear then that's great in my book but i always take it with a pinch of salt. If it isn't on the official site then anything can happen to stall a deal. There's no reason to be confrontational, all that does is put folk off from reporting what they've heard. If you don't like it just ignore it.

I'm not being confrontational, just pointing out that there is no record of that guy having any accurate information and a good few instances where he's been completely wrong. He's obviously trolling by pretending he's itk.  I dont care really. Just calmly pointing it out.

If he wants to go to Everton or elsewhere I think he should clear off. Judging by his tweeting, etc he seems a bit of a sulker, not really the attitude you want at a club. Probably not as good as he thinks he is, at least not yet.

Gray has bags of potential and is a player we must keep and give more chances

A lot of people are saying this.  What is this faith in his ability actually based on?

"he's young and english"

That's literally it. If he isn't making the team while we're playing so poorly then he obviously isn't showing the right stuff in training.

I like Albrighton but he's hardly looking undropable right now.

Based on the fact he's been England's best u21 player this year and looks far too good at that level.

Based on the fact he had 100 odd appearances for Birmingham by the time he was 19/20 showing the faith they had in him.

Based on the fact that he impacts the game more often than not when coming on. Sunderland away, and his ridiculous goal at Old Trafford. He 100% deserves more minutes than he's getting.

100% agree. If we're gonna be shite we might as well give Gray game time to gain experience

When schlupp and mahrez go to afcon I'm looking forward to seeing grey and Albrighton start with kaputska coming off the bench

The only bench you'll find Kaputska on is one in Victoria Park

HE IS A TALENT, but he is also lazy in defence, and his over all work rate needs to lift, he seems to just mop around the field he never looks like he wants to get really involved, but he is still young.

What facts that he impacts a game?  Which games exactly?  Man Utd when we were 4 down at half time? How many chances has he created? How many goals has he scored?

Schlupp had a number of appearances for us in the Championship when he was young. Does not make him Prem class.  As for looking good for the U21's that is great but no where near the quality of the Premier League.

Don't really know where to start on this..

Impacting a game? Well.. You've singled him out individually for criticism so the general state of those games is irrelevant if we're talking about his individual ability and his actual time on the pitch. If he'd been playing 90 minutes in all these games fine but he hasn't.

Man Utd - He sat on the bench until half time so couldn't have done much about the 4 first half goals conceded lol He then came on and scored an incredible goal of individual brilliance which helped us win the second half. So in terms of his contribution in his time on the pitch he quite literally couldn't have done more? Same again at Sunderland. Came off the bench and did more than anyone else had all game by beating his man and crossing for a Shinji goal.

He's only scored one league goal (Man Utd) and got two assists in the league (Hull, Sunderland). According to Squawka he has played 244 minutes. So averaging a goal or assist every 81 minutes. I don't know about you but that seems pretty decent to me given his limited opportunities. Again it shows he is doing all he can and deserves more minutes.. You can't argue with that surely?

And as for the U21s not being near the Premier League.. That U21 team would beat a fair few in the Premier League with Loftus Cheek, Baker, Redmond, Gray, Ward Prowse, Winks, Abraham but ok.

How have I singled him out? It's a topic about him.

There are a number of players this season who have been equally as terrible or more so but that does not make him the next great hope.  I have watched him play so am confident in saying he is not the answer to our problems at the moment.  I can't see that he ever will be.  I would be willing to have a bet that the England U21's would not beat a fair few in the Prem. A number of the players in the team can't get into their 1st team squads either.

Do you not think if his overall game was good enough he would be playing from the start every week? Or do you think Claudio wishes to play a weakened team to get a pay off?

As in in your previous posts you said what impacts has he had on games? As in individually what has he done when on the pitch i would take that to mean..

Evidence shows he's done a lot when he has been on the pitch. A goal or assist every 81 minutes is superb..

I'm not saying that he's the saviour to all our problems at all, And i'm not saying he should start every game.. Far from it in fact but the point remains that he should have played more than 244 minutes in 16 league games thus far.. No one is setting the world alight currently and he deserves more of a chance 100%

You seem to have missed the point.  You said I had singled him out.  I haven't.  It is a topic about him.

Yes exactly. The topic is about him as an individual and his impacts on the team when he plays. You criticised him and said he doesn't impact games so i answered..

I've not missed the point at all. I've explained how he clearly does impact games when he plays.

No you have missed the point.  You said I singled him out.  It would have been singling him out if it had been a topic about the most overrated player or who is the shittiest and I would have thrown his name in.  That is not the case though and I have already said that there have been people far more disappointing than him this season.  I do not however see what he would bring to the team at the moment that would improve us.

Gray needs to be in the starting 11, he makes things happen and gives us something different going forward, it'll be an embarrassment if he leaves without being given a run in the side.

I agree but over 90 mins he gives us very little not going forward in terms of his concentration and marking, which has avoidable lapses - which is why he's being blooded in slowly.

I think he gives us more than Albrighton does over 90 mins recently. I don't think he has the patience or attitude to be blooded in slowly. If an offer does come in for him in Jan from a club in the Prem he'll demand a transfer.

In my opinion
