Demarai Gray - Everton

You can see he's growing frustrated by lack of game time via his social media posts... play him or get ready for a berahino style meltdown if we block a move

If they come in for him he'll be off. It's hard enough for us to hold onto our players when a bigger club comes in anyway, let alone when we're not even using them properly ourselves.

There were rumours in January that they Everton were going to hijack our deal for him. I think they originated from the mirror as well. They were wrong then.

What a ridiculous thing to say. How on earth do you know he'd act like Berahino if this 'supposed' transfer bid takes place and we reject it

With Schlupp and Mahrez off to AFCON it'll be a real opportunity for him to get a run of games with us and show Claudio he is ready!

Would sell for the right price. Don't know what the right price is though. 20m?

How do you know they were wrong? I think Everton tried, but Gray preferred to come to us instead, since he lives close by.

I mean they were wrong as in they didn't successfully hijack the deal, maybe they tried but it didn't work.

Only a matter of time. If he goes then we will be officially a laughing stock if we are not already.

Bit of an exaggeration. He's getting more and more chances now but isn't exactly setting the world alight if we're being honest. He looks promising but so did Levi Porter. If his attitude ain't right then Gray could easily go the same way (or similar, surely he'd never end up as bad as Porter, but you get my point, potential is just that - it remains unfulfilled until the player steps up)

Bolasie injured for months

Former scout at Everton

Seemingly unhappy player at Leicester

Lazy link I'd say.

Gray will get his game-time. Claudio's starting to play him more ready to fill in when Mahrez and Schlupp go to AFCON. We won't (want to) sell.

Not necessarily, they were well in the hunt for him when we signed him.

He needs to learn it's  a team game and not keep going for solo glory. When he then loses the ball he needs to get back in the game rather than standing there feeling sorry for himself which he does more than he should.

He reminds me of Cristiano Ronaldo in that sense, without the same ability of course. His playing style seems very similar to him also, so probably someone he looks up to.

Is there a right price though? His signing heralded us finally signing a young english talent, ahead of the likes of Arsenal or Everton. We need to keep doing that and I believe he'll be a great player... lets not make the mistakes Villa have... Adam Traore? Albrighton?

You can tell it was our first signing of that ilk too because we haven't handled him right at all! He should have gone straight back to Birmingham for the season, then he wouldn't have been around a title winning side getting his ego boosted through the stratosphere despite only playing a couple of times!

Surely he was bought as back up to Mahrez fortunately for us he never got injured, if he'd  have gone on loan I believe  there's  no recall option.
