Saggs is good, the boxing presenters are awesome and very informative, the late night duo are crap and try too hard to be funny and it backfires badly. Danny murphy gives his views well our Geoff is a legend obviously!! Pity about the adverts but that's commercial radio. Always the off button if you don't like it!!!

The weirdo has a strange hatred for us. I remember he put up a video going on about title contenders on his twitter and we were top at the time and he didn't even mention us. I know it was unexpected etc but it was quite a way into the season. I bought it up with him once we had won the league but he never got back to me for some reason.

I stick up for us as much as I can on air but you have to be critical now and again when it's deserved.

Its not all bad and in particular some of the later stuff is more thoughtful and interesting as they don't have to dumb it down for the lucrative drivetime audiences on the way to and from work. Anybody who actually gets wound up by Durham is an idiot themselves. The man has forged a career from his antagonistic views - can't believe people fall for it. Its certainly not as bad as people make out, if you can pick between the commercial dumbed down rubbish and the decent sections of the station. Agree Collymore is a big miss.

However, one of the pundits then said he expects us to avoid relegation AND make the Champs League final! Make of that what you will!

I thought it was just the young uns that did this, but lots of older blokes do it as well. It's a bizarre dislike of anyone who makes anything that they construe is a negative comment about the club. Its bizarre really.
Corky Posted 30 December 2016 Posted 30 December 2016 I'm not really bothered if statistically we are the worst defending champions. We could've been 10th/11th and still been that or whatever. We haven't done ourselves justice or played well in many games at all and that is the worst part.
1972 Fox Posted 30 December 2016 Posted 30 December 2016 Obviously it goes without saying that all of us would like us to be doing much better this season than we are. Before the season started I expected us to be in the top 8 and maybe at best pushing for the top four again. With hindsight I now realise that with the extra matches, the injuries suffered plus suspensions, the loss of Kante and the lack of depth in our squad, we are not going to be anywhere near where we were last season. Am I bothered? Not really no. I think we'll stay up and I'm sure we'll push on again next season. WE WON THE PREMIER LEAGUE. We are the 2015/16 Champions of England! Nothing will ever be able to match last season for me. We will have the memories with us forever and those memories can never be taken away. Our Club is in good hands and we are moving in the right direction (albeit temporarily moving the wrong way in the League table). We still have a Champions League knock-out tie to look forward to and who knows what might happen in the FA Cup? We will follow the City over land and sea..... Where did it all go wrong?!?!
