They should all be up for it. Another performance like Southampton and they can stick their club coloured BMW's up their arses.

If you can't be up for playing against Direby in the FA cup on a cold Friday evening, in front of 5 players thousand traveling fans, you don't deserve to play for Leicester City.

If Derby play their 5 a side team, I think we'll nick it.:D

Are you sure? You have more confidence than I do.

Will the club show much enthusiasm for it? I get the feeling that anything other than the Premiership and the Champions League is little more than an annoyance and there to offer experience to anyone of promise - and a run out to some first team lads who are getting rusty sitting on benches in the winter mist.

I can't second guess our players attitude. Last time I watched them in a game that didn't matter (Champions League) players supposedly given "a fantastic opportunity", didn't seem the least bothered.

It disappointed me no end but then the team's been indifferent on so many occasions this season at lest it's making tickets more esily come by! :)

Reminds me of the well worn gag about the team so desperate for a win they organised a practice match against the weakest opposition they could find. The Dustbins won 1-0. :(

I hope they do, it's the FA and it's a local derby. We've got 5000 travelling fans and, to me, if they put out a second string side it is basically a big dis respectable  "fvck you" to the fans. They can go out in the next round, but tonights important for the club.

If we go out there tonight with a second rate team and a second rate attitude then they can all fvck right off tbh.

There is no more 'dining out' on last year's achievements - it was amazing, great, incredible, but the ****ing dirty dishes have been taken away, washed up and put in the fvcking cupboard.

It's about time this bunch of moaning, self-serving, over-paid and over-pampered players pull their heads out of their collective arses and start playing some decent football again.

Despite Ranieri's questionable formations and tactics of late, the lack of effort and ability from these players is wholly unacceptable.

Time to fix up boys - this is an important game for the fans - if you let us down again here then people's patience is really going to be running out.

Up the Foxes. :scarf:

Yes, we're playing Derby County, but its not really a derby game is it.

This game only matters in the pubs, factories, board rooms and classrooms across certain areas of the East Mids.

Generally in every other part of the country it means 'jack'

So I'm saying, passion in every game should be default, this game is unlike no other.

Weird contradiction..

Dont always agree with this type of thought..but for once I wish somebody  would show this post to the manager and players.

They need to feel the real hurt from the fans, especially the travelling ones.

The OP asked which overseas players are likely to be up for the game tonight. How the fvck does that include Chilwell, King etc?

To answer the question, I have no idea: most of the team - of overseas origin or not - have not appeared up for many games this season.

No I think the East Midlands is the only place in the world where they have local derbies.

Derbies were invented in the East Midlands, that's why they were named after Derby. Why they couldn't have been called leicesters I don't know. :(

TBF the thread title did not make the overseas distinction.

Our Captain will know the importance of playing Derby away in the cup more than anybody. Need to see a Captains performance from him today and make sure every single player in a city shirt knows how big this is.
