I can give so many examples of a team of apparent no hopers and soon as manager has been changed a turn in fortune happens with results.

I havent fully disagreed with you in terms of the players, they do need to take some responsibility but it will and always will fall to the manager. It's his squad, his team selection, his tactics, his game management etc etc it's unfair to use the Kante and Walsh situations because I don't think we will ever find out the true reasonings behind them, wether CR had a part to play in them leaving or not no one knows, what we do know is how poor we have been this season, tactically outclassed by opposition, outplayed by opposition and CR openly admitting tactical errors.

Id like to imagine CR is doing his best but this is a results business and if his best isn't up to the standard the club require then it's time to go.

Out of curiosity, what do you think was the reason we won the league last season?

There arent enough hours in the day for me to list why we won it last season but needless to say everything went our way. Loads of big teams were in transition (remember Chelsea hovering around the relegation zone?) which acted as a leveller but basically 14 or 15 players stayed fit and played out of there skin. They were all hungry and had that Rocky eye of the tiger as they started the season nice and humble with a normal pre-season and played for 40 points. Players were playing for there prem careers and we over achieved when absolutely everything went our way. This season has been the complete opposite. We cant do anything right. Tonight typifies things for us. Vokes controls it with his hand and we get nothing. We are bereft of confidence where last season everyone loved us and everything went right. This season you get the feeling all eyes are on us as people actually want us to get relegated.

Back to a final word on Claudio. He convinced the likes of Vards, Kasper, Drinky and Mahrez to stay. He has added some young talent to the club and bought in the likes of Ndidi and Slimani when apparently they had other options. Sacking Claudio could lead to an exodus next season. Id hope we stick with him and we should have more than enough to stay up. If it all gets to much for Claudio and he walks then he is entitled to make that call but he doesnt deserve to be sacked. If he stays I reckon I am certain that next season we will be better for it. We will make some serious additions to the defence, we may lose Mahrez but the crux of the team I think will stay and we get that eye of the tiger back. It will be the wake up call that some of these needed.

I don't know what's aggravating me more. Ranieri's insistence that 'we played well' or 'The Doctor's' defence of the indefensible.

Bad night. I can't suffer fools no longer

Ranieri's post match interviews are a meme.

It's actually quite insulting to the fans, with some of the utter tripe he comes out with.

Get him out, even the 3 or 4 points we may get for the new manager effect is more than we will get keeping Claudio!

What makes you think for a second That Monk would leave Leeds for us right now?

Predrag Radosavljević.

i honestly think he should get the job. He was once promised it and he never got it , which was harsh.  but PREKI would have the heart and desire to take us forward. He did well in the MLS which is one of the toughest divisions in the world to do well in, he and Bob Bradley were good mates so he's got experience from him. Anything is better than this.

I pray Predrag Radosavljević will get the job if Ranieri was to leave.

I said a few weeks ago, I don't think he will go unless we drop into the bottom 3. I didn't actually think we would at the time, but with us playing Man U at the weekend and Palace playing Sunderland, I fully expect us to be in the bottom 3 by the end of the weekend.

We then have Derby at home. If we lose that as well and put in another woeful performance, then will the owners act??

We are getting to the point now, like with Mourinho's situation at Chelsea, where even pundits and other fans probably wouldn't be that shocked by his sacking. Just shows how far we have fallen, when a manager can take a team from 5000-1 and win the Premier League, and then be sacked with overall approval, only 6 months later.

We are getting to the point where it would be fully justified to sack him. Just curious to see if we would get a response from the team, like Chelsea did when they sacked Mourinho. If not, then we will go down, but if we don't act, then we will likely go down. A good performance against Man U and a convincing win at Derby... and he may be here a while longer but I can't see anything other than a big loss against Man U and if Derby actually play OK, then they could probably turn us over too. We are in a sorry state and I don't think Claudio knows how to fix it.

If we go down with the same team except Kante, do we cheer or boo when they come on the pitch at half time for the 10 year on Premier League victory celebration? Just a thought...

To anyone who's voted leave,

cast your memory back to May 16th last year, Kasabian in Victoria Park, if someone had said to you then, "I like Ranieri, but if we're playing shite come February next year, we should sack him" what would you have said?

That man just gave us the best season of our entire lives, where's your loyalty?

It's not like big Sam's available is it

he has to go iam sick of watching a bunch of blokes who get paid a fortune to play , just kick the ball up field . there is no football been played, teams in div 2 play better football than us. we did not sting more than 2 passes together tonight. that I believe comes down to the manager and what he tells his players, it worked well last year this year it aint working u have to change it if cant or don't want to the piss of and let someone else do it. he has to go now or sevilla will kill us and it will be embarrassing.

But you know, that we have the same manager as last season?

The players we have are more than adequate to keep us in this league.

They just meed motivating and using tactically in the correct way.

Can we go and fetch Rafa Benetiz?

CR will go down in history as a "legend" at Leicester in many senses of the word.

Unfortunately he's outstaying his welcome now.

I totally get the loyalty thing, but how far are we going to go just to stay loyal? We will most likely be in the bottom 3 after the weekend. We have seen no signs of improvement for 6 months, and actually, one could argue, we are getting worse. Should we stick with him and get relegated for the sake of loyalty? Surely there comes a point where the club is bigger than any one player or any one manager and we have to do what is in the best interests of the club, and take emotions out of it.

Are you talking about those players, who are only feeling comfortable,

when they are playing 442 or 4411?

Players, who obviously are unable or unwilling to learn something new,

or to adapt to the fact, that they are in a relegation fight.

Players, who are more concerned about their off-pitch activities, than

about their performance on the pitch.

The mentality of the players is the problem, not the manager.

If you believe, that a new manager would improve our situation,

you must have an explanation for the dismal state, we are in.

Right?

I don't. Claudio even picked the team I would have tonight. There just seems to be something completely off at the moment. Moral looks destroyed and has done for a long time. I was hoping we would have brought in 3-4 top players in this window to really shake things up and get us going again, but that chance has gone now.

I would love Claudio to be able to turn it around, but how long do we wait? How many formation changes and player rotations do we try, until we say that's enough.. We need some fresh ideas and new impetus.

What do you suggest? How long would you wait? We will likely be in the bottom 3 after this weekend.

Something needs to change. It horrifying to witness such a fall from grace.

My personal choice would be to go for Martin,  the perfect man to give us an injection of energy and restore some pride.  Cant think of a better man for the job. With the teams below looking much sharper now we are really in a lot of trouble and im not sure where this turnaround is going to come from.

The owners are naive if they think sticking by him and watching us relagated due to loyalty is the best way forwards.

Its a results driven buisness and the players gor for whatever reason aren't responding to CR this season. We can all whinge and say they are paid x amount and should be happy. I said yesterday, money isn't the number 1 driver for job satisfaction. People leave companies more often than not because of the boss they work for. Why would footballers be any different?

At the current moment in time, we stand to lose nothing if we change Manager, other than a whatever it costs us to park up CR.

Food for thought, have any reigning countries Champiins, ever been relegated the following season? What a moniker to have!

If I were convinced, that a new manager would make a real change,

I would sign him tomorrow. I am not a member of the Ranieri Adoration

Society. But I really doubt, that he is the problem.

He has tried (almost) every possible line-up, every possible

formation, he is trying to direct the game from the touchline

(have you watched him tonight?), but nothing seems to work.

Perhaps, we need to be at the bottom, like in 2014/15, before

the survival instincts of the players kick in.

How long would I wait? Till after the Sevilla game.

The club owes him that. At least.

I think what needs to be understood is the fact that no Leicester fan WANTS Claudio to be sacked. The reality is, he NEEDS to be sacked.

I will be forever grateful and respectful of him for what he achieved in winning the Premier League however thats when things were going great. Things are not going great anymore and he hasn't got a clue how to improve things.

Sorry but he has to go for the sake of the club.
