stevelcfc Posted 31 January 2017 Posted 31 January 2017 With regret, I think its time. Unlike with the greatest escape, there isn't even a glimmer of hope and behind the scenes is a joke.
ithuriel Posted 31 January 2017 Posted 31 January 2017 I'm actually gutted for him but this ships steaming full speed for that iceberg with not attempt at missing it
ZeGuy Posted 31 January 2017 Posted 31 January 2017 If there is any decent alternative I think he should resign, because he won't get it around. Relegation is a certainty if things keep going like that.

We were shocking tonight but its not him that told them to play like caaaants. The players should be ashamed of themselves. I think you've answered your own theory wether he should stay or go.
Leicesterpool Posted 31 January 2017 Posted 31 January 2017 Claude seems to be seeing a different Leicester to us, fans and pundits say we were poor while the manager says we played well. Doesn't sound right. Time to step down.
Thracian Posted 31 January 2017 Posted 31 January 2017 As I said earlier you can't win without scoring and we're scoring about half the goals we need as a minimum. the manager has had quite long enough to sort the problem out but there's absolutely no signs of it. I also said that without King we'd lose something and so it's turned out yet again. Our shortcomings are too numerous to mention but when someone like Vardy's taking a corner and not even getting that right or Drinkwater's wasting passes for fun when you're desperately trying to work an equaliser you've no chance. I know the Burnley goal should have been disallowed but they were blitzing us towards the end and it's just not good enough when single points are not really enough in our situation and with our upcoming programme. Even now we've got a massive relegation threat but we need a change of manager either to restore some hope or to start rebuilding for next season with a more balanced approach.
Stadt Posted 31 January 2017 Posted 31 January 2017 I'd go for Marcelino the former Villarreal manager, defensively solid and overachieved after getting them promoted. Literally can't be any worse.

Besides the issue is more with the players - after he lambasted them for hoofing at Derby they've gone straight back to it. They need their heads knocking together and to buck their ideas up. Their lack of effort isn't something that new signings or a new manager will change. Of course it is. A new manager could well get them firing again. Your constant reluctance to even consider a change will probably continue as we slip to relegation.
foxyblue Posted 31 January 2017 Posted 31 January 2017 He should have gone about a month ago.we could have got somebody in and gave them the transfer window to get players in.he inherited a team that picked itself last season.there is only 1hr left of the window and what have we done in it NOTHING. us fans have paid a lot of money this season to watch this shite.the club is a laughing stock of football.
Fox Posted 31 January 2017 Posted 31 January 2017 I hate to say it, but I want him gone now too. That loss hurts far more than any of the previous losses this season, I think that's because I've finally realised that we're in real danger of relegation. Who the hell do we bring in though??

STUHILL Posted 31 January 2017 Posted 31 January 2017 I'm torn as never thought I would call for his sacking, but it is getting like the Mourinho situation now, where there just seems to be no light at the end of the tunnel. He has tried different formations, different players but nothing is working for him. The players ALL look a shadow of themselves. Keyword being ALL. There must be something fundamentally wrong behind the scenes for everyone to be performing so poorly. His chance was to use this window to bring in 3-4 quality players and really shake it up. He hasn't done that, the window has been a disaster and he must take some of the blame. He is far too passive in his approach to things. What's more, we have one of our top professionals refusing to play for him. It is all just such a mess. I wanted to give him 5-6 games AFTER the transfer window to see how his new signings would make an impact... We have no new signings, so I can't even give him that now. I think Southampton and tonight were rock bottom. We have Man U next and will be absolutely torn apart at this rate. Time to go I think Claudio. Thank you for the best season of our lives but we are going down with you if you stay. Please resign and go with some dignity.

I really think Ranieri has his hands full, with the prima donnas, the lack in form and Schmeichel stirring shit apparently. Nobody decent to take over. Nobody decent would want to take over this lot where half are too scared to touch the ball like little *****. We're ****ed. What is that about kasper?
foxes21 Posted 31 January 2017 Posted 31 January 2017 pulis, pearson or mancini . just checked mancini's instagram and he's in london, probably waiting for the helicopter
Seaton Fox Posted 31 January 2017 Posted 31 January 2017 The decision to get rid of Ranieri should have been taken weeks ago ,it was obvious his tactics were getting us no where . The time has come for the owners to bite the bullet or should I say give him the bullet . We need a manager that can motivate when backs are against the wall.
StanSP Posted 31 January 2017 Posted 31 January 2017 Love what he did for us last season, delighted that he helped our club in to the world's history books, not just the Premier League's. But he's running out of ideas here and it has never looked like we are getting out of this rut but for the Man City game. That was probably the last time I felt confident that we could pick up a bit of form and get away from the relegation zone. We've been heading downwards for far too long now and it's almost heart-breaking and gut-wrenching to feel and experience after the highs of last season.

adam Posted 31 January 2017 Posted 31 January 2017 ****ing fighting until the end bollocks. Get him out. First time I've said it but we are not learning from our mistakes. Game after game we have the same problems. What's Harry Bassett doing?
Guest kristianity77 Posted 31 January 2017 Posted 31 January 2017 He'd never won a title until last season and got his first. Has he ever had a relegation? Patterns and all that...

Never on the front foot, always inviting pressure, no clear cut chances created. His tactics are making decent players look so poor, it's embarrassing. i think some of the players are poor to start with... lacking technical skills
Koke Posted 31 January 2017 Posted 31 January 2017 I don't have much faith when he calls shite like tonight a good performance
Aberdeen_fox Posted 31 January 2017 Posted 31 January 2017 Unfortunately he's got to go. Players need to take long hard look in the mirror though. Claudio will always be a legend and a hero for last season but just no sign of turning it around and think sticking with him will result in relegation. Change it now while we still have a chance of escaping.
Turtles Head Posted 31 January 2017 Posted 31 January 2017 Gutted to say it but he has to go. Sooner rather than later.
