Don't feel sorry for the stupid old fool, last year he did what he was paid to do, this year he hasn't, a lot of players in the same boat. Remove them as soon as is realistically possible, hopefully survive and then hope top sort shit out for next season.

you make it sound so easy lol

I disagree mate. Had they had better shooters it would've been a lot more. We didn't defend well. Huth was turned inside out. They were unlucky not to get a pen in the first half and our distribution (which is a major part of defending so as not to allow an avalanche of pressure to continue to come forward) was atrocious.

he may rate that. I don't and want a manager who stop patronising me with his bullshit.

Well then you're wrong. Number of shots means nothing, quality of chances is what matters and their "shots" were mostly pot-luck punts from range.

I'm never sure if you're wumming or not.

Shocking going forward is quite a problem no?

And we've defended ok today..what about the fact that we have one of the worst defensive records in the division?

Please change the bloody record. We're shite aren't we.

It is, but talking as if we were shit because Barton shot every time he cleared half way is madness.

Someone on here said and it was discussed on Guardian podcast. But it is all "apparently". Wouldn't surprise me though. SChmeichel seems rather up his own arse

Hope its a load of bollocks. If it's true then you would imagine him being off in the summer.

Oh right. So if we defended so well why were they the ones having these pot shots and not us? They defended well, we didn't. We got lucky. 1-0 flattered us.

I think you've answered your own theory wether he should stay or go.

You must be like that Ironside or Colombo you??!!

I couldnt be clearer here. Our players have gone soft with all these new contracts and BMW gifts etc (owners fault not Claudio) and CR is trying to galvanise things after the lord mayors show so to speak. Unfortunately, its bloody hard. How can a guy go from scoring a record amount of goals on the trot in Vardy to looking like he couldnt hit a barn door with a banjo? Mahrez was touted as a Barcelona player, he couldnt get into Hartlepool at the moment the way he is playing. I watched Drinky last season play outstanding defensively and creatively last season and was fuming when he didnt get called up in the England squad. This season he doesnt deserve to play for Scotland. That is the reality. Out big players havent turned up. They are all playing in the same positions as last season (Drinky may have been pushed into more defensive duties at times) but basically these buggers who spend all fudgin day on the net, appearing in OK magazine and working out the plans for their movies and go and get there BMWs spread for a past time should stand up as men and play for these owners and their manager. They are a disgrace at the moment and my anger is at them not at Claudio who is still so amazing that he comes out and protects them despite them letting him down again.

If we lose to united and Derby then Swansea will just about be his last straw for me to save his job, unfortunate that it's come to this as he will always be a Leicester legend

That's why I said realistically possible, these leeches won't be easily removed and it wont necessarily be cheap. Ranieri is a quick fix though :)

What? We defended well limiting them to pot shots...

i agree there, i think hes got 3 games to save his job, hes got at least win 1 and draw one imo to have any chance

I'm just utterly speechless as to how we could go from heroes to zeroes in about 6/7 months.

It must be the biggest sporting achievement, followed by decline, in the history of football?

I cant believe how bad we have become.

Swansea is absolutely vital, get nothing there and we are in the drop zone and can't buy a win. Would be harsh not to give Ranieri a crack at the Sevilla game but wouldn't want to leave it much later than the Swansea one

I think our opinions differ considerably and our ambition. If the other team continually attack your goal and get in behind and have shots. It's not what I'd call defending well. Two chances before they scored. 1 was the Andre gray chance - good defending? How about the Mee header? The penalty shout in the first half? That's just three.

It's a real poser. Look at it this way, if we get rid now we've wasted a whole transfer window - which I know we have anyway, but, had we got rid at the start of January, the new manager would've had this window to bring in players (subject to Rudkin). Part of me feels like if we got rid of Claudio now, it'd make this window even more depressing and redundant.

But then again, I can't see us turning things around with Ranieri still here. How has it come to this? :(

They didn't get in behind that often though. Even when were were pounding teams left right and centre in the championship sides had a couple of moments, saying they had a couple of good chances doesn't discredit the defensive performance as a whole.

This is the problem, Ranieri is clearly not the tyrant or headmaster type of manager, he's a softly spoken, sort approach arm around the shoulder type , last year when things were going well with the 'band of brothers" that was the probably the best style to use. This year the players have had big contract's, headlines , magazine covers, international coverage etc.. these are mostly young lads who struggle to handle that ,they needed guidance. Unfortunately it seems that Leicester as a club have not handled that well. Ranieri now needs to be that tyrant or headmaster type and the players are like "you what mate? We're champions of England, we earn 10 times as much as you...Shut up old man"

Now I'd like Ranieri to leave by mutual consent and not get sacked. A manager who won the only premier league trophy with us doesn't deserve to get sacked. He needs to realise that he isn't the right man for THIS job. Thank you for the memories CR , but we now need a bastard to control these spoilt brats.

tbh I think the Seville game is a bonus and not as important as staying in the league, the prem is more important tbh

Ok, let's put it this way. They were better than us in every department. Is that acceptable. The score didn't flatter them. Ranieri' post match suggest they were lucky. They weren't. If anyone was going to win it, it was them.

I've lost faith in him, but I'm not comfortable just sacking him with a) nobody decent replacing him and b) these piece of shit players continuing to collect their wages and not being punished at all for the shit they have served us up this season.

Claudio should be the greatest hero this club has every had and these players have shat all over him. They've taken the fvcking piss.

Ranieri's reputation will sadly be tarnished by all this but I'm not letting the players remain heroes whilst he gets the ignominy of being sacked less than a year after winning the title. It's not right. They are the ones who cross the white line after all and as much as the manager has been hopeless this season they have let everyone down big time.

It's just so very upsetting. What this club could have been if we'd just kept doing the right things. We could have had some great times. Watched exciting, progressive football with England internationals in our starting line up. Now we're basically Sunderland. Just short-termism, scrapping to stay up and buying overpriced shit season after season.

The dream is over. Being proud of the title win is pretty hard at the moment when our so-called heroes leave such a bitter taste in the mouth.

Yes fame and fortune could go to their head but our team aren't the first crop of players to deal with medi attention, gifts, pay rises and international call ups - if that's the case I'm surprised the likes of Real Madrid and Barcelona ever exists now as the players who play for them must be x10 as bad as ours.

No one was complaining of the media attention last season, the mid season holiday break rewards, international call ups or january transfer interest/players dubbed next best thing.

Our performances are poor, players look disinterested/potential CR has lost the dressing room, players publicly announcing wanting to leave and CR handling, poor results.

However much you will call the players, it's CR who are picking and managing these players, our league performance and position falls only on the shoulders of CR.
