Not sure it could be classed as a falling out with Ullua.

Taylor was a total Dick throughout and no doubt upset everyone.

Collymore stopped playing as he came back from a a broken leg, played in the reserves, midfield and totally bossed the game and encouraged and instructed a young team. Benji also played but did bugger all and allowed the kids to chase all day. Stan called him a lazy bastard etc, Big Trev came back with you lazy cuunt. Cue half time whistle, handbags all the way down the tunnel. Trev used to be a boxer and so did Stan, albeit Swedish weather girls (Trumps indecent?)#

All under my nose, and no show by big Stan second half, wounded as we'd lost one of our most naturally skillful players ever

Wow. Never really knew why Collymore didn't stay very long. Such a shame if it was Trev's fault, as he was rubbish. The one thing that springs to mind when I think of him is seeing him make three fouls in a few seconds. Emile and Stan could have been an awesome strikeforce for us.

It's so irritating to think how close we've come to being an established PL club. Taylor and Ranieri have massively fvcked us over. Hard to forgive them for that. Ranieri has done something truly great, as well, so that makes it a bit easier to forgive him. This season is going some way to negate it, though. Time to piss off, Claudio.

Nore did he have the cash as CR has had

In relative terms he did. £25 million was massive back then.

Wow .Never heard that story. I seem to recall Stan or was it his mother phoning up the Radio Leicester Monday night phone on and telling Taylor to call them. I may have got this wrong but pretty certain that Taylor basically refused to talk to him and that was that. Desperate times they were!

Another similarity.... we were too late in sacking Taylor as well!!

Taylor was sacked when we reached the bottom of the pile 8 games intot he season. Not sure how the fixtures pan out but is is possible we could be bottom by the time we play Liverpool?

Never realised Akinbiyi scored as many as 9 in that infamous season. Cant really compared Musa and Akinbiyi though, Musa isnt in the starting XI for a good portion of the time and when he is, he is usually played out of position.

They are also the only two managers who've had us top of the Prem. strangely enough - albeit only for two weeks in P.Taylor's case and that was due to an international break!

But this squad is surely better in relative terms than PTs ? We can hope that they'll manage a few league games where they all concentrate for the whole game and scrape some 1 - 0 wins and 0 - 0 draws , can't we?
