Fox 4 Life Posted 27 February 2017 Posted 27 February 2017 Fair play to Top, taking the criticism on the chin and defending our players. Our owners deserve praise for always trying to do the best for our club, not this public lynching. The club's vice-chairman, Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha, has made a strong defence of the players in tonight's match-day programme for the Liverpool game. There have been reports in some media outlets of a 'player revolt' that helped get Ranieri sacked and it has prompted angry comments in their defence from senior players, including Jamie Vardy, Kasper Schmeichel and Marc Albrighton. "This decision was our decision, our decision alone and it is unfair that our players, who supported Claudio fiercely, are being accused of disloyalty, " said Aiyawatt. He added: "We made the most difficult decision we have had to make in nearly seven years with Leicester City. "I don't expect everyone to understand it and I know that some people are angry about it, be we have to think about the long-term interests and the best way to bring the club that we love forward. "Carrying that responsibility means making decisions that are not always popular and we respect the views of the fans, but responsibility ultimately rests with us." Aiyawatt urged all fans to get behind interim manager Craig Shakespeare and his staff, who have "the quality and strength of mind to overcome the challenges ahead." The vice-chairman added: "They will need all of your support. With our fans behind us, we control our own destiny."
sylofox Posted 27 February 2017 Posted 27 February 2017 Our owners just get better and better. How could anyone not support them. They love this club and us only want the best for us all.
the fox Posted 27 February 2017 Posted 27 February 2017 Are you telling me that the owners were wise enough to understand that the ones that should be supported are the ones in the club. WOW!
Legend_in_blue Posted 27 February 2017 Posted 27 February 2017 Without them, we're dead in the water. They deserve full support from everyone.
mozartfox Posted 27 February 2017 Posted 27 February 2017 I hope that get a big hand tonight and 3 points.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 27 February 2017 Posted 27 February 2017 They certainly did the right thing, if anything it should have been done earlier but they felt he deserved as much time as possible but nothing was changing so ultimately had no choice in the end
UPinCarolina Posted 27 February 2017 Posted 27 February 2017 I really like the owners. We would be without a pot to piss in, if they hadn't taken control.
Grewks Posted 27 February 2017 Posted 27 February 2017 The thing is, the owners have actually made a decision which they believe is in the 'best interest of the club performance wise'. It hasn't been good enough, simple. Those questioning the sacking of Ranieri are doing so due to 'sentiment'.....Our owners have ambition.
Foxxed Posted 27 February 2017 Posted 27 February 2017 It took Manchester United a generation to gain this kind of hate. It took us one season, a very tight knit team and a manager who tried to change them. We don't fuch around, at least.
Clever Fox Posted 27 February 2017 Posted 27 February 2017 I'm sure it wasn't an easy decision but it was the right decision. Great Owners to have and we're so lucky.

Just replied to as many idiots on Twitter as possible, I hope they choke on the hate they spread.
