Just wondering why so many seemed happy Charlie Adam had been sent off.

1) he's a ****

2) he's totally past it in the Premier League
3) should have got sent off against us

4) he's a dirty player

5) he's a massive ****

We’ve lost the chance at catching Burnley, IMO. We need to beat Everton too in that race.

Why? Only 3 points behind with a better goal difference and still have to play them?

Went back and edited right after posting - I feel like we’re now racing Everton too and I think they are going to be tough competition.

Because we're  errr, 3 points behind them with 8 games to go, with 1 of those games against Burnley themselves...

Hmmmm but rather he stayed on giving stoke more chance of a result. That would have kept the toffees points behind us.

West Brom and Stoke going down would be superb for the Premier League.

Agree.

Those two, along with Sunderland, are clubs with no ambition other than to stay up. You get the sense that they'd all snap your hand off if you offered them 17th in August, and I for one would much rather see clubs having a go.

Had we given up in the great escape like this guess what?

It’s just a feeling, not an admission of defeat. Obviously it would be glorious to overtake them.

We’ve got a decent record against those pie shagging, mini-bus hiring, strepsil intolerant, hotpot chomping, charity tin thieves so we’ll do ‘em and represent England in Europe once again instead of Burnley Barry and his Lee Cooper three quarter lengths
