HighPeakFox Posted 14 May 2017 Posted 14 May 2017 Amartey didn't inspire huge confidence in me yesterday, but then again he didn't do much wrong either. This is a football related post, as sponsored by @Col city fan.

The gesture is irrelevant as the path of the ball isn't changed and there was no way Kasper was getting anywhere near the ball. I understand his point about not being able to see, but Sterling was onside when he took up that poor position.
Koke Posted 14 May 2017 Posted 14 May 2017 Used to be fond of Man City but it's sad how their fans have turned into paranoid conspiracy theorist. They are the Alex Jones of football. If Argentina play Uruguay and Otamendi gets sent off they will claim the ref only sent him off cos he hates Man City. State of that fan base. The media and FA and all other 19 clubs have conspired together to make sure Man City don't succeed.

Well if you have some experience as a referee then I will bow to your opinion, otherwise, the law doesn't mention any necessity for the path of the ball to change. As for Kasper, I was surprised before seeing the replays, etc that he seemed rooted to the spot. It's quite possible that he was expecting Sterling to divert the ball or was simply distracted by his presence. Anyway we'll never know, but the fact that Sterling was there and made a clear attempt to play the ball should IMO qualify as interfering with play.

My matchdays are a little empty without this banter & bullshit. What UP said. For a Cleveland Cavaliers or Indians game, I can go, or have buds come over, or hit a local watering hole, and I'm among the tribe. Thanks to FT I have some enjoyable interaction for Foxes matches also. And the beverages are cheaper at home. ... now returning y'all to the regularly scheduled thread .

Schmeichel was rooted to the spot because he was intending on going back on himself where Silva intended to put the ball before a miskick (much like his save at Arsenal last season). Not convinced he would've got there but Serling definitely swings a boot of it which by the laws means offside
CosbehFox Posted 15 May 2017 Posted 15 May 2017 The moral of Saturday's game is that despite all the criticism levelled at us. We still get under the skins of many a big club fan. We beat the 'system' and it still hurts. Still had Man City fans foaming at the mouths. Our very existence at the min winds some up. There are six big clubs in this league and then a few with delusions of being bigger than what they are. In the next five years at least one set of fans in that big six won't win the league and will be annoyed that we beat them to it. Ultimately none of them will have that feeling of beating 'the status quo' like we have for the last two seasons.

If he didn't do that, there would be case of not interfering. Having seen how tight it was, I reckon the linesmen felt he was onside.
Koke Posted 15 May 2017 Posted 15 May 2017 Etihad tunnel cam for anyone who's interested. I had forgotten that Fuchs and Sane played together at Schalke.
MCFC DAN Posted 18 May 2017 Posted 18 May 2017 Sorry Leicester fans but who is this bitter 'Koke guy' His posts in this thread.... Used to be fond of Man City but it's sad how their fans have turned into paranoid conspiracy theorist. They are the Alex Jones of football. The media and FA and all other 19 clubs have conspired together to make sure Man City don't succeed. Personally think it's pretty small time by Man City fans singing about a man and a club that have no relevance to them. We're not rivals and Ranieri is not an ex Man City player. Man City - world class talent & manager with tinpot fan base. State of this lot.. Remember when Pellegrini did his farewell speech in front 20 blokes and their dog. A man who won them a title + a domedtic cup + got them to the furthest they've ever been in CL. They really are a small ckub. What does Pep mean by this? What numbers? Man City are a small club. They just won the lottery. Everything about ManCity says small time. . it's almost like he's a foreigner basing every opinion he has on what the media tells him. We get these fools as well so don't worry. For those that think we're plastic (koke).... enjoy.....

Well, I watched it. It shows: a) Fans singing along to a song played over the PA. b) Fans singing along to another song played over the PA. c) Fans going quiet while they wait for another song to be played over the PA. d) Fans singing along to a song played over the PA. There you have a four part definition of 'plastic'. Contrast your video with this one:

Just look at City (Man) and Leicester attendances whilst in the lower leagues and in previous years. Leicester have averaged 30,000 or more 3 times since 1960 and you dare to question our fanbase... Absolute moron. At least you have Fulham/Womens football clappers
MCFC DAN Posted 18 May 2017 Posted 18 May 2017 I remember after the 3.0 in the FA Cup a few years back the Leicester chants thread was all about City songs and what you could take, the next week Leicester fans sang here's to you Danny Drinkwater (Kompany chant) yet we're the plastics..... Which club has had two songs being sung on every beach/club in Europe during lads holidays and in every stadium in the country..... we're the plastics. Leicester.... the definition of where were you when you were shit
CosbehFox Posted 18 May 2017 Posted 18 May 2017 BREXIT DAN !! These foreigners coming here stealing our plastic chants. Chill out man. The origin of chants is that they are passed on, edit and passed on. Bit like how we brought the Kungs back from Porto and then everyone else lapped on it to. How a bloke in Wigan did Will Gregg but it ended up being used by England.
