Whatever it is, it's not hate.  Nobody hates him.

It might be criticism.  It might be frustration that the player of 2016 hasn't turned up this year but it's not hate.

Nah, mate. Coming from you, sure. I read a lot of your posts and even if I not always agree with you, there is an argument behind them. Can't always argue with that and it's okay. We're not supposed to have the same opinion about everything.

But what I sometimes read this afternoon was nothing short of pathetic. The whole team fought well after being 2 goals down and deserved a draw. I don't want to keep on this Mahrez discussion. I respect your opinion, but the bloke is getting too much stick here. Not just today but the whole season. There are a lot of good and even fantastic posters in this forum but I wonder if they can make up for the utter crap I'm reading sometimes. I've never seen that before.

The guy may just have two games left with us. It's just sad.

Why oh, why..did it take to the 2nd half, to find our game...

Forget those  contraversial moments...

I dont like the tactics, and our slow movements forward.

We are not a Possesion team, so I wont go down that road.

Even with DD, Ndidi, we are desperately missing a cm who can take the ball, the game

forward..we need a BOSS.This squad is different a mixed pickle ethos and character,

this Group can still deliver....Find that   man!!!

Maybe we could get that Kante guy at Chelsea, he has been benched for the last couple and seems out of favour.

Our midfield has frustrated me all season, Mahrez is double/triple marked but seems to make the wrong choice too often, Drinkwater has just been below par, Mendy god only knows, Andy King seems like he just can't pass forward, Amartey doesn't look quite there, Kaputska good enough for Poland but Leicester who knows?. Barnes and James looked impressive on loan so may help next season.

Ndidi looks like he fits.

We really need to get one high quality midfielder with drive in the summer.

We've lost half of our songbook with Ranieri going and no longer being champions.

Agree.

Heard 'Iwan is...' but that was about it apart from the standard 'Leicesster' and 'making all the noise'.

I was right next to their fans, bottom tier, and they were the loudest I've heard them there tbf. Didn't help we were silent but still.

It seemed a very negative team selection, especially when you saw them glide through our midfield in the first half.

They aren't great defensively, I would have tried Albrighton and Ndidi in the middle with Gray on the wing and given them something to think about defensively.

I like Shakespeare but today and at Arsenal he set us up all wrong.

We were a properly taken penalty away from arguably drawing at Man City with a makeshift team and you have a dig at Shakespeare. It's almost as ungracious as blaming the referee for our defeat.

Gray's done very little to influence games of late and there's no way he's the answer to Mahrez if the Algerian leaves either. Nor is there any indication that Albrighton's a central midfield player and had he played there we might not have scored at all.

As for Amartey, Who the hell was pleading for his inclusion?  The man has about as much urgency as a combine harvester and as much desire on a football pitch as a rheumatic centenarian.

If only Amartey showed the same desire to contest possession as the Manchester right back and the necessary focus to pass the ball with intention and accuracy. But I won't say anymore. I can only presume he has family on here promoting him rather than any serious assessors and I can't blame family for that.

Amartey was only part time but if I generously double his 2/5 that would make 4/10 for the game.

I think, in your eyes, Amartey's biggest crime is that he isn't Andy King.

Or Alan Sheehan...

The FOUR assistant referees did not do their jobs. I thought the referee actually did well.

On the whole I bloody loved that game of football and didn't want it to end. I'll stick my chest out and hold my head up high for that performance.

I actually, enjoyed that 2nd half...

It seems we can rattle some the big clubs cages..

If Amartey's your idea of the future of our midfield you must be related or  perhaps a childhood friend. But indulge me and tell me how he impressed you today cos I've clearly missed it.

Destroying attacks with attitude, searching wing-to-wing passes to launch attacks or clever one-twos, a blistering shot or two from distance, determined tracking of runners, relentless covering of beleaguered colleagues, feel free to give chapter and verse because today was arguably a fabulous chance for the guy to make us all sit up and take notice. To me he looked laboured but I'm all ears.

As for King, I said today and on other occasions over the last two seasons that it's time he moved on, so your mocking flippancy doesn't wash.

While you all bicker over nothing, did anyone else notice that there were two blatant early yellow card fouls on us that Madley decided weren't worth giving? One on Vardy in front of us, and another in midfield....

Ah, but the comment wasn't necessarily about just today's game. Said Mahrez is our only creative player. Which isn't true.

Thought we were on about the game to be honest but ok

Meanwhile Man City fans on their forum are raging over the ref as well, felt he was biased towards us. Not good when both teams hate you...

Absolutely, and that's with a makeshift defence and lightweight midfield. Imagine how we might do if recruitment in the summer goes well.

I have less sympathy with them, they don't like being tackled even vaguely combatively. I presume none of them saw the forearm smash....

He had 22 minutes.  Away at a top four club. When he's hardly had any game time for months.

You go on like he scored 3 own goals and got sent off.

Despite your protestations, you are famous in here for Kingophilia.

"Mocking flippancy" lol

Have you wondered why he's not played much? And why, if he's so keen to get back in, he should look laboured? Chilwell hasn't played much either and was playing against the same top four club. He might have made mistakes but he still looked fit, strong, alert and thoroughly involved.     .

Hey ya'll, I am pretty well tanked at a beer festival waiting for future Mrs. UP.

May not be the moment or place but I wanted to thank all of you for giving a nascent Fox in the States a community to prattle on to, debate and ultimately feel a part of. My matchdays are a little empty without this banter & bullshit.

Cheers mate! Congratulations on finding your Mrs, hopefully you'll manage to convert her if you haven't done that already! lol

Also, that Shinji's goal!!
