More on the Polish guy killed by Brexit, Farage has delivered a letter to the BBC general to ask for an apology.

So... is Farage going to apologise for this?

While we're at it, who's apologising for this ^?

Seems to me there's a whole lot of apologising to be done when it comes to the media and politicians openly bullshitting people.

The usual response, look over there.

Simple fact is the BBC were happy to smear Farage and even tell us on camera "facts" about a murder that were totally false in order to link it to him and Brexit.

For a supposed neutral broadcaster that is appalling whoever the politician is from whatever side.

Poor Farridge. Still, he's said he'll withhold paying his licence fee until he receives an apology, so that should do it. Perhaps if he does receive an apology he'll even things out by apologising for saying that the vote to Leave was won 'without a single bullet being fired.' Jo Cox's murderer was not a Leave voter (he was a lunatic) but Farridge's insensitivity was crass. You'd hope he'd learn and reflect on moments like that. Regrettably not.

It really adds to his point imo, we could take a few pointers by twisting some politician names into catchy slurs. Jez the lez and Ronald McDonnell have a nice ring to them.

Maybe it's another thing that Farridge will demand an apology for? The mispronunciation of his name. And again, maybe he could even things out by apologising for some of his liberal interpretations of the truth, such as the poster above. I find it unlikely he will. Shame he cannot practice what he clearly holds as so dear a value.

It was a blatant smear, some of these excuses from such high minded people are a bit pathetic tbh. If you think that sort of thing is acceptable fair enough, just don't expect anyone to take any notice of you when you get on your high horse.

The language he used after the referendum, and in light of Jo Cox's murder, was blatantly crass and insensitive. The poster he is stood next to, and which he promoted as the truth, is blatant dishonesty. As he gets on his high horse over the "smear" against him, is it not acceptable for others to highlight the hypocrisy of him?

Do you really not see why this is an issue?

The BBC is a state broadcaster funded by the people who have a duty of impartiality. They totally failed in their duty to that.

What I see is a man who demands an apology for inaccuracies made against him, yet will offer no apologies for inaccuracies he has made. That, to me, is the issue.

Because you are looking at it with a hatred of Farage rather than through an independent viewpoint. It's not just the smear at him they should apologise for either, it's making up news that was proved incorrect in court.

Have you written him a letter asking for an apology?
