Why is Russ Bray refereeing at the Bahrain Masters, thought he retired a while back

Money offered was too good to turn down I assume.

He reffed there last year. He's ambassador for the Asian darts in the PDC so he usually does these.

Really wish PDC had got Phil Brzezinski in as the new announcer, don't rate this new guy at all. Phil's class on the euro tour

The World series is just a big holiday for the players at this time and I don't blame them! It's paid for by the PDC....the Masters at the end of the month will be more interesting as it's a ranked event now.

Not sure if this is the right thread to post in as this is more of a live events commentary thread, but does anyone have any tips how to get going with darts as a sport?

Been obsessed with watching for a good 3/4 years now and have finally plunged into buying a full home set up, any tips welcome.

The DartCounter app by Target is great for playing against people either in person or online - tracks averages & has mini-games / warm up routines etc. You can also play against bots with averages anywhere from like 25-30 to 100+. Definitely recommend

It links with their auto-scorer if you wanted to splash £500 quid on an Omni but still works fine without

Does anyone know whether the dartboards that come in the cabinet )with the doors that open to reveal the board), will fit onto 1 of the dartboard stands/tripods?

Should do.....my stand has a bracket that screws into the back of the board.

The score things didn't need to be messed about with on the telly......doesn't even tell you who threw first!

It does, its a small dart underneath the score of the player who has the throw in that leg.

Agreed though - not sure why they had to reinvent the wheel

Van Gerwen starting to come back into form it seems, although Rock averaging less than 80 against him.

Not sure how Bunting has got himself in the PL this year.

Bunting is all about "The People's Champion" schtck....there's a clique of players that'll get in the PL deserved.or not.

.........see RVB a few years ago.If anyone should have been in it should have been Wade and Nopert, but they don't fit.the narrative.
