I'm sorry but I consider clappers part of our history now.

Attended every home game during the greatest season in our history and the clappers were a massive part of creating the atmosphere that got us over the finish line.

Clappers cost peanuts in the context of player's wages.

One of life’s certain rollercoaster of emotions supporting this great club I believe one day the owners will get the right bloke in the Managerial Hotseat and we will become great again !!

But no on can take away that feeling of May 2016 when we were handed the champions of England Trophy winning the Premier League title by 10 points 10 Fuching points that has been the best Leicester City feeling I honestly never thought I would see in my lifetime !!

But whatever happens I will support Leicester City through the good times and the bad times and I believe the good times will return and so will our European adventures!

SO ONWARDS AND UPWARDS AND IN LEICESTER CITY F.C. WE TRUST !!

That's a matter of opinion

in all fairness dude things are better than they were several years ago.

they pretty much ignore persistent standing in 2 areas of the ground, assist (albeit sometimes half-heartedly) with getting flags up around the back of the Kop and also support Union FS to a reasonable extent (I guess?) with putting on TIFO displays.

maybe they're not allowing the guys in their 20's some of the freedoms they have elsewhere in Europe etc. but our club is probably helping more than many around the UK, surely?

Get rid of goal music, the clappers, the other gimmicks, have a proper nod to our history around the stadium and reduce ticket prices.

What about the fans that don’t mind goal music? (Music has been played for many years). What about those that don’t mind clappers? Aren’t you then alienating them? Ticket prices I certainly hear what you’re saying but that’s market forces and every game is a virtual sell out. To be fair, the cup matches have also been very cheap.

There’s been a notable reduction in the clappers being used recently. I wonder whether the club ever do take a look at whose picking them from under their seat. They’d surely make a significant saving if they just handed them out.

Ticket prices are cheap on an individual match basis for season ticket holders. Other tickets are difficult to get due to market forces and although costlier, have to be to some extent due to the loyalty of season ticket holders who make a seasons commitment, it'  always been the same and makes sound commercial sense.

As for free transport suggested by some for away fans, that may also be seen by some as unfair as it would be the same people all the time getting the benefit due to the points system.

All these things are very subjective and I think our owners do their best to please in the circumstances. I  personally don't mind the clackers or goal music. I  also like sitting for example due to being an older bugger with a dodgy back, but I also support those who want to stand. We get a bit and give a bit.

I'm with you. The club are slowly losing me. I know football changes but things like the ; clappers, fan cam, Vardy masks, points for spending in the shop, changing the club colours are all not for me. They are not the Leicester I fell in love with. These and the bigger picture of money being the sole interest of the Premier League and modern football turns me off. I look at this season and for me there is no stand out games or trips. The nose dive in terms of our away support atmosphere leaves me now wondering if I want to continue travelling the length of the country to be stood with mutes giving you questionable looks for daring to open your mouth.

Er, we play in blue and the owners aren't responsible for our away fans making noise.

They've fed us before, mind, the terrible modern football bastards and their free dinners at away grounds.

Who do they think they are?

We used to play in blue and white. There is no longer white on the home kit, I think that's the point he's getting at. I understand that we've had kits in the past that didn't have white as prominent secondary colour but that was only for the odd season.

People enjoy a good moan.

Our ticket prices arent that excessive. The owners interfere little.

The club is bound to make efforts to make it attractive for families to go to games. Young children are your future customers for years.

If people are moaning about goal music hats and clappers its simply a way of getting more people involved in the action and is it really a source of frustration?

Would i rather go back to watching games behind fences with low aggressive crowds on mud patches rather than in a smart new stadium that has a megastore that might sell some cheesy merchandise and good facilities with goal music? No.

And if you dont like modern football or what you perceive as boring non vocal fans, you have an option of not going.

Not only will you save a lot of money, youll also remove a clear source of frustration.

But numerous of these giveaways are just for away fans? Scarves at Stoke, jester hats at Watford, blue shirts at various games, free food at certain away games.

I see now we have the ‘be grateful, you are AMF etc’ crew - sorry, I just want to see my football club be the best it can. I want them to make football affordable and get as many people from the city and the county watching them. I’d rather stop them spending money on something disposable which is forgotten about immediately after the game and give something what saves money for the fan or invests in the future.

So they should be free of criticism because of a few items of food?

There’s a resistance amongst our support to criticise the clubs owners. Yeah they had done good things but why not push for better?

We used to play in a black shirt with the blue slash before blue and white if you’re gonna get all historic about it!

That was 133 years ago. For the vast majority of that time Leicester has been blue and white.

Doesn’t change the fact that blue and white weren’t our original colours.

People seem to forget that our owners are running a business and a successful business at that. We’re not the cheapest club to watch but we’re miles away from the most expensive.

The perks that we get as fans are exactly that, perks. The owners aren’t obliged to provide them to us and they probably have no bearing in whether out ground will be expanded.

The owners have undoubtedly given us the best period most of us will experience as City fans, along with what seems like great stability and a real plan for the future.

We’ve done well and could’ve done much worse, you don’t have to look too far to see clubs who’s fans would swap with us in a heartbeat.

People naturally will always want more than what they have, but if we look at everything that the owners have given us (look way beyond the free pies), we should be very content.

I see Sol the self-entitled Snowflake is having a moan again. Like the UFS numpty on Radio Leicester the other week saying the club need to lower prices and cater for supporters in their mid-twenties. I don't think some fans will be happy until they hand out free pyro and establish a friendship with a German club we have no affiliation with

Couldn’t agree more Sam. It means so much to some people to be able to think of themselves as part of an ‘ultra’ group. It’s almost as if it makes them a better/more loyal fan.

Liverpool didn't originally play in red, but I'm sure if there colours were to change now they wouldn't be happy about it.

I'm absolutely not saying they're above criticism.

I'm saying the things baker11 was complaining about aren't really much to do with them.

Fan cam, Vardy masks, points in the club shop, all of that is just modern football and we'd be getting it whoever is in charge. Away atmospheres are nothing to do with the owners, Top isn't standing in the crowd shushing our fans, is he?

We've changed between an all blue and a blue and white home kit pretty much constantly for the last thirty odd years, having a couple of seasons of blue shorts is hardly changing the club colours. Three seasons now, having had white shorts for five seasons with these owners before that, yet you're acting like they've changed to a pink polka dot kit.

At what point did he say anything about the owners?

But there was almost always a bit of white on the kit, now there's no white but plenty of gold.

Screw it, let's play in chocolate and blue.
