Kapustka did not play in either UEFA Europa League qualifying match with Freiburg, as they lost out 2-1 on aggregate against Slovenian giants NK Domzale.

Since joining the club, he has made it to eight minutes in total in a friendly against Feyenoord Rotterdam.

Bartosz Kapustka again played only eight minutes in Freiburg's DFB Pokal First Round win against Germania Halberstadt.

Freiburg's DoF recently stated that Kapustka "still needs a bit of time. He's on the right track, but he's not at that point where we'd like to see him."

He's not even on the bench for Frieburg's home opener today.

SC Freiburg captain Julian Schuster recently criticized young players switching clubs too early, slamming their advisors and agents. "They are transferred too early and for too much money, instead of staying at a smaller club like Freiburg for a while and taking it step by step. It's a sad trend."

That was also in parts directed at Kapustka.

Kapustka wasn't part of the squad for the away game at Leipzig and then featured as an unused substitute in Freiburg's 0-0 home draw with Borussia Dortmund. But I wouldn't read too much into it there, because Freiburg were down to ten men and needed to defend heavily for that point.

Still, somewhat worrying that he just can't get any more games under his belt... So far, he's only played 74 minutes with the U21s in a win against Saarbrücken.

Wigan substitute Callum Elder played one solitary minute against Charlton following his four-game ban.

Elliott Moore has played all four league matches for OH Leuven as a starter so far, scoring once in the league and once in the Belgian Cup competition, an 8-0 win over Turnhout.

Harvey Barnes currently stands at four matches for Barnsley and one goal in a 3-0 win against Sunderland. Used as a substitute three times so far.

Kapustka with his first Bundesliga appearance last weekend - came on in the 69th minute against Leverkusen, but Freiburg were already 3-0 down at that time and went on to lose the game 4-0.

Good thing is that Freiburg are currently suffering from a bit of an injury and suspension crisis in midfield, which should see Mr. Cabbage getting more league match practice in the weeks to come.

Callum Elder remained on the bench in Wigan's 3-0 home win against Bristol Rovers.

Elliott Moore likely to be in Belgian Cup action tomorrow, away at Sint-Truiden (kick-off: 7.30pm UK).

Harvey Barnes taken off at HT in the home game against Aston Villa. The visitors led 2-0 by then already and ultimately won the match 3-0.

Kapustka was not in the squad for Freiburg's 1-1 draw with Hannover 96 on Wednesday.

Again no further minutes on the pitch for Callum Elder, who once more stayed on the bench to see Wigan Athletic beat Northampton 1-0.

Elliott Moore played 120 minutes in OH Leuven's Belgian Cup 6th round defeat against Sint-Truiden (4-2 on penalties for the home side).

Harvey Barnes substituted in the 71st minute in Barnsley's 1-0 League Cup away defeat against Spurs.

Nampalys Mendy played the full 90 for Nice for the first time in a Ligue 1 match, OGC only managed a 2-2 draw thanks to a Traoré own goal 15 minutes before the end.

He now stands at three league matches and one in the Europa League.

Again, no first team action for Kapustka. And none in the U-21 team, either. The Curious Case continues...

Same fate for Callum Elder, who could only watch from the bench as Wigan lost 3-2 away at Peterborough.

Harvey Barnes was taken off in the 70th minute for Barnsley away at Wolves. All three goals in a 2-1 Wolverhampton win were scored after he had left the pitch.

Elliott Moore featured for the full 90 in OH Leuven's 1-1 draw against Beerschot.
