Banks, Shilton, Ranieri and Martin O'Neill. So difficult but I base this on Banks being a WC winner, Shilts being the most capped English player, Ranieri for obvious reasons and Martin or his 2 league cup wins and generally being a top top bloke who still sends me giddy whenever I see him on TV!

I guess it shows how much has happened in the last couple of years. Three years ago, Claridge would have been a shoe in, wouldn't he?

And those are accolades not awards (talking about riyad)

 

I remember what Shanon Sharpe (a former NFL player) said when he talked about the hall of fame, some thing like "when they like you, they will make a compelling argument for you"

 

Can't see why should vardy be there and not riyad, they both had 1 world class season while riyad had more accolades as a Leicester player (like riyad being the only Leicester player in the 2014 world club for example)

 

 

There is one reason though, vardy is English! Not knocking anyone for having some bias (I'm also a bit biased), those are their lists, but when a player is consider in the list of the best Leicester players ever, its weird that he isn't on mount Rushmore.

 

I was never a lineker fan but he has to be in our top 4 (with Banks and Shilts and probably Vardy).

 

You know, Barcelona actually wanted him don't you and Arsenal actually wanted Vardy (and Vardy turned them down).
