Who should play in midfield with Ndidi?

Who in our team can pass? Especially proactively? We haven't passed the ball properly since the title winning season, to the point where quite often I find some of our football pretty painful to watch.

Nearly all of them can pass more accurately than N'didi.

When he first came to the club he was a very good passer, that has vanished this season.

OK you're right, let's sack off the kid that saved our bacon last season rather than contemplating the fact that our whole style of play is pretty lacking. It's all N'didis fault. Passing isn't everything, he tracks back and makes a whole range of critical tackles, especially so last season. You want to take that out and play James and King with a whimper then that's fine.

The lack of central midfield playmaker is a huge limitation for us, we cannot unlock defences. It's quite easy to stick three men on a wide or advanced playmaker, far harder a deep lying one.

This is THE problem. There is no cohesional play, it's so hit and hope it's unreal. And we literally have ONE playmaker in the side. ONE.

The problem is we're trying to replace Kanté and everyone fails since no one will become the engine of our counter attacking system. We've accidentally had an illicit affair with Scarlett Johansson and now it's over and no matter how much we try to readjust to the wife's cellulite the imagine of Scarlett's lavish curves remain siloetted on our mind's eye and the staring blankly at the bedroom ceiling only serves to intensify the suffering. Or maybe Silva will start passing the ball to players at some point. Dunno.

Not disagreeing with you, however Andy King is not the answer for a premier league team seeking European football. I'm sick of hearing a defence for King along the lines of 'hes a nice man' or 'hes Leicester through and through' because frankly, I don't care, I just want a good midfield and once those blue tinted specs come off, it's easy to see that Andy King should not be a part of that, because he isn't good enough. I can't imagine him getting into any other PL squad looking for a top half finish, let alone top 8. He's doggo. Our midfield is doggo. It needs sorting.

I really hate to be condescending because this is a website for all opinions which should be encouraged- but sadly you obviously don't know an awful lot about football or certainly haven't played much.

King was outstanding in the role he was asked to play today. He did everything I would want from a premier league centre midfielder. Simple but subtly effective (oh and he won a penalty too..)
