Yep, brilliant in League One. Mixed fortunes with us but did well in the Championship in the end.

I remember him scoring after a few seconds at home to Coventry. I'm sure that was our quickest goal ever. Is it still the case?

He always seemed to play better after he had his head shaved as well lol

I remember when being a Leicester fan mostly consisted off being frustrated with Fryatt. He scored a lot of goals, but man did he miss a lot of chances also....

Always did the best he could and I find it kind of sad, that he has to finish his career like this. All the best Matty!

Ah damn that’s sad he’s had to retire relatively early for a footballer. Best of luck to him, he was brilliant for us and was one of our most important players during our darkest time.

Always welcome at the KP!

Probably been mentioned before, but here goes if not......

So massive advantage for them if they get through the next round. Basically the two matches after that would be home fixtures for them. What an advantage that would be.

Surely the odds are on for Spurs to win the  FA Cup this year with this massive advantage.

I would fancy our chances massively if our two games were at home if we were to dispose of Sheffield United.

Surely this is wrong and shouldn’t happen

Edit - the semi and the final would be at their current home, but you know what I mean

I heard this discussed on the wireless yesterday. Can’t really blame Spurs but it’s clearly an unfair advantage for them.

As a ‘one off’ this season I’m sure the two semis could have been at the Emirates and OT then the final at the Millennium.

I think the vast majority of fans want the semis back at neutral grounds. It’s shite having them at Wembley and it’s just about the money.

He holds our record for quickest ever goal but I'm 100% sure it was against Preston.

edit: Why is this thread now got 'Spurs' in the title :S

You're right it was against Preston. I think I was muddling it up with the happy memories of Geoff Horsfield's brace against Cov.

Weird that the thread's title changed.
