Where does it stand in the all time banana rankings? Pretty high, I reckon. I'd give him extra points for it being in the 97th minute, for the way he sprints off before it hits the net, and for it being the trigger that sparks our season back to life, culminating in a glorious Wembley finale.

On the Mahrez one it seems to have crazy acceleration after hitting the ground.

just watched it several times and it's fvcking brilliant goal.

 

at the time it was given and scored, I didn't realise it was set just outside the left hand post from the goal. Makes it more impressive as it means he's directed it even further away from goal and to put that much curl on it to deceive the keeper is superb.

Taking nothing away from Riyad, it was an excellent strike but for me Bournemouth should've dealt with it a lot better. They said on match of the day that Adam Smith's positioning was all over the place and for me Begovic should have done a lot better even though he was unsighted by his wall.

Couldn’t agree more. Having sat in the freezing cold got 2 hours I left the stadium with the hump on 95 minutes

to be a pedant, isn't a banana shot with the outside of the boot so it curves the opposite way?
